I have various friends who are diehard MAGA believers.
Several of them have texted me pictures of their beautiful little children, along with one wording or another along the line of "this is why I believe in MAGA."
Personally knowing them, together with going back and forth with them about their hopes, and so on; it is ever evident that they each have simply confused their particular hoped for ideal as being what Trump is actually all about.
They're simply unable to see through his so crystal clear obvious facade.
His is the exact same facade of the very politicians his supporters had had more than enough of.
And in a sense, one sort of has to have been living by a double-standard somewhat similar to Trump's obvious own, at some level, and all along to begin with (whether aware of it or not), to be so easily blinded despite the obvious, when said obvious comes knocking at the door of one's hoped for reality.
The man cannot but help reminding the more objective, of that story about that Emperor who had no clothes, but to those who so needed to "see" otherwise.
And there is nothing more difficult to such an individual, as pointing the obvious out to them.
It is what it is.
