The gospel of the kingdom was preached to all the nations before 70AD.
Why? It does not include the dbr.
The gospel of the kingdom was preached to all the nations before 70AD.
:chuckle:Paul preached the gospel of the kingdom in Acts 28
Why? It does not include the dbr.
Notice what Paul said:
(Acts 28:32) Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
As we see, Paul preached the kingdom AND the dbr at the same time.
Why does the gospel of the kingdom not include the dbr?
Why did Peter switch to another gospel in 1 Peter?
It couldn't before the cross.
After the cross, Peter and Paul began including it.
Peter didn't "switch" to another gospel, he did the same thing Paul did in Acts 28:32. He preached the kingdom AND the things that concerned the Lord Jesus Christ.
:chuckle:
So the gospel of the kingdom before the cross was incomplete?
Nope.
So, Peter preached the gospel of the kingdom (did not include dbr) and also the gospel of Christ (included dbr)?
That's what Paul preached at the end of Acts:
(Acts 28:31) Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
Peter doesn't come right out and say it like Paul does in Acts 28:31.
You have to remember that the dbr was hidden in the OT. It took awhile for Peter to understand it.
Why did Peter preach two gospels?
Peter preached the kingdom of God AND the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ.
Which is exactly what Paul did.
You said there was only one gospel.
Did Peter preach two?
Paul says the following in the KJV:
That gospel
My gospel
Our gospel
The gospel of God
The gospel of His Son
The gospel of Christ
The gospel of Peace
The gospel of the uncircumcision
The gospel of the circumcision
The gospel of your salvation
The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ
The glorious gospel of the blessed God
The gospel of the grace of God
However, most of the time Paul just says "the gospel".
So, when Paul says "the gospel", which one of the gospels in the list is Paul referring to?

Check the context.

You should check the Greek.
The word "gospel" is from the Greek noun euangelion, which means "good news", and from the Greek verb euangelizo, which means to bring and/or announce good news.
You want us to believe that Peter was preaching a certain good news, but Paul was preaching a different good news.
IOW, you want us to believe that what was good news to some people, was not good news to other people.
That makes no sense. Good news preached by Paul was not bad news to the people Peter preached to.
You should check the Greek.
Yep; the Greek.
Never mind just plain old time in Scripture in light of who, what, when, where, why, and how.
Works fine in everyday life.
But when it comes to Scripture; out the window it goes as there are all sorts of "books about" to be over relied on; who has time for time in Scripture.
