Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Galatians 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
Since Abraham was dead way before the law was added, only a fool would deny that this is Christ.
Are you a fool?
No matter how you want to explain it, the fact still remains that some were once in the kingdom, and then they were out.Focus.
It is the children of the kingdom that are being cast out of the kingdom.
Matt 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out
Because only those who are of faith are Abraham's seed and heirs of the promise. The unbelieving Jews didnt lay hold of the spiritual kingdom, and so are cast out.
Ah ok. So using divorce is a good way to slap someone down, huh?
Remembering the old show was not meant to be a swipe at you, and I'm not red headed. But you can call me what ya like, makes no difference to me.
The important fact in this thread is that we didn't receive Jesus' faith.
I saw that.
heir encourages Johnny W, GM, Nick M and other MADists to make the posts they make, but reports you for calling MADists "mean".
Such is life in the world of Darby followers.
No matter how you want to explain it, the fact still remains that some were once in the kingdom, and then they were out.
Israel was chosen/elected, but not all of those chosen/elected got to stay in the kingdom.
Obviously, being chosen/elected did not guarantee that all the chosen/elected would always remain in the kingdom.
Galatians 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator
Irrefutable, yet Tet tries.
Andy C,Because only those who are of faith are Abraham's seed and heirs of the promise. The unbelieving Jews didnt lay hold of the spiritual kingdom, and so are cast out.
The earthly was ordained by God as a type, that pointed to the new and better promises which would be fulfilled in Christ.
Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Again, the kingdom which they were cast out of is the same kingdom they were once a part of.Again, you convolute earthly Israel, and it's being an elect nation/kingdom, which functioned under the governance of earthly kings, with the Elect and spiritual Israel, Jesus Christ, who is King of all His elect and heavenly Kingdom.
The earthly was ordained by God as a type, that pointed to the new and better promises which would be fulfilled in Christ.
To the contrary, son, yer the fool!
The promise to Abraham was "the seed" (Christ Jesus)
STP thinks there was a promise was to Christ Jesus, which he claims was faith.
Correct.
Those who are "in Christ" are filled with the Holy Spirit and become children of Abraham.
Go ahead and ask STP if he is a child of Abraham?
You are missing a fundamental fact here, which is quite shocking . . .
Yes he's prooftexting. Kind of like saying that Jesus is a loaf of bread because he claimed to be the bread of life. No regard for context whatsover.
There you go, TOL audience, as she spams her "spiritual" contortions, back flips, cart wheels, cobwebs...........that would make Olga Korbett, Kathy Rigby...........envious.
Naggie: 1 Cor. 15:1-4 KJV-this earthly was ordained by God as a type, and fulfilled in us when we "repented of our sins," and we became "The New Covenant of Grace."
What else would you like to "prove," Ms PigPen?
You are missing a fundamental fact here, which is quite shocking . . .
You are trying to claim the Christ was given, what He is in His Being.
The Christ of God is God. He is Light and never required being gifted with Light. He is Truth, and never required learning Truth. He is Love, and never required being given Love. He is Spirit, Wisdom, Goodness, Meek in His Being so had no need of being gifted with any of His attributes.
Jesus Christ was faithful, not because He was gifted with faith, but because in Himself He is Faithful God.
You are way off track on this one.
What you are claiming is an Arian belief...are you just now coming out of a closet on this primary Christian doctrine and denying the full Deity of Christ?
Nah. You are desperate.

Nah. You are very wrong.
Christ is Life. Was He given life?
You are treading the heretical path of Arianism.
Andy C,
You are trying to make it sound like there are two kingdoms being mentioned. The kingdom of Israel, and a separate spiritual kingdom within that kingdom.
The verses do not speak of two kingdoms, only one.
The kingdom they were cast out of is the same kingdom that they were once in.
And no matter which kingdom (Israel or a spiritual) that you want to call it, the fact still remains they were in the same kingdom that they were kicked out of.
The same is implied with the branches of the olive tree being broken off.
They were part of that elect tree before they were cut off, but could also be grafted back in.
(In, then out, then in again.)
And those that were not part of the elect tree to begin with could also be grafted in, but where also in danger of being cut off.
(Out, then in, then out again.)
