The Holy Spirit led me to truth strictly through carefully comparing scripture with scripture.
Acts 3:19-21 (KJV)
Col 2:13-14 (KJV)
After carefully comparing these, do they say the exact same thing?

I'm beginning to see why you don't work.
It probably bothers you that john makes more money working 2 hours a day from home than you do in 40. Why? Do you covet his free time?
What does it mean to repent?
So far no madist is able to come up with an explanation.
john doesn't enter into debate.
He simply quotes people out of context, calls them names, and copy and pates from other websites.
So what does he do?
John and STP are stuck in a religious mire,
Is lying a sin?
We've told you over and over.
He clowns his way through biblical discussion, and causes confusion to cover his own confusion.
Sadly, his clowning endears him to persons, and they tend to giggle at him, instead of insisting he shape up, get serious, and study intently to actually see the full light of truth revealed in God's word.
John and STP are stuck in a religious mire, and they think by trying to sell the darkness that has deceived them, they can justify their errors.
So, in their thinking, the confusion must be perpetuated.
Only decent and serious study of God's written word, can rescue them from this trap they have dug for themselves.
Acts 3:19-21 (KJV)
Col 2:13-14 (KJV)
After carefully comparing these, do they say the exact same thing?
John keeps avoiding it.
I wrote:
Repent simply means to change your mind. The context, i.e., when, the issue, who addressed ....determines from what you are repenting, which you refuse to accept-the LORD God repented. As stated, as pertaining to salvation/justification in this dispensation, it is changing your mind about your ability to be justified by your works, your commitment, your "faith", your................., by recognizing your guilt, your "coming short"(Romans 3:19, 23 JV), admitting it, and thus being convicted/persuaded of your dire, hopeless condition in affecting your justification, and, instead, that trusting the objective cross work of the Saviour, and His commitment, His faith, not your subjective feelings, your subjective "commitment", your subjective "genuine" faith, not your "cleaning up your act....stop sinning..........".....as a pre-requisite to justification. That is religion, and the LORD God will reject it, and you, because you have rejected the sacrifice of the Saviour alone's cross work, and resurrection, as your grounds. The LORD God does not convict a lost man in order that they will want to "live for Him", i.e., commitment.........; He convicts them so they change their mind about relying on themselves, and see/recognize their need to beieve on the Son.
Repentance, as pertaining to justification(again, the context, to whom, when.....) is not a change of mind about whether or not to "love sin", or whether or not to "stop committing sin", but a change of mind/attitude about what is the LORD God's solution for the sin issue-the d,b.r alone.
Acts 3:19-21 exemplifies the gospel message that is to be preached indiscriminately to all men.
Colossians 2:13-14 is the foundational truth of the gospel message, which will produce faith in whom God wills.
There is no conflict between the two verses.
They are gnostics.
So explain what it means to repent of sin.
Repentance is granted to sinful Jews and Gentiles from God, just as surely as faith to believe the gospel promises of the Christ is a gift of God's grace.
II Timothy 2:25
Acts 3:6, 5:31, 11:18
Repentance and faith are evidence of regeneration, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. If there is no faith, and there is no repentance, there is no Holy Spirit sanctifying the soul. Romans 8:9
Completely incoherent post that is a mishmash of quotes out of context and your usual rhubarb.
