You need the law because you don't have the Holy Spirit. If you had the Holy Spirit you would know that the law has been abolished.

The law does not produce righteousness. The law produces sin, Romans 7:7-12. The law will not cure our sin problem, it only makes it worse.
It is written that you should love your neighbor as yourself. This means that you should sell all that you have and give it to the poor.
Laws don't apply to me because I am perfect and complete in Christ, Colossians 2:10.
The law is for you because you are one of these, 1 Timothy 1:9, 10.
Yes the Holy Spirit will NEVER lead one to sin...and NOT because the Law is abolished...

You really don't know anything about the scripture if you think that is what love your neighbor means.
Here is the verse in context:
Leviticus 19:17-18 17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. 18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord. |
If you love your neighbor as yourself, you will rebuke your neighbor for sin so your neighbor does not go into damnation.
