The Hebrew way of thinking says the path of righteousness is to go around in a circle. The very Hebrew word for "path" Psalm 23:3, for instance, is agol....make a cycle....a groove worn in the dirt as the oxen tread around and around. The path of righteousness then becomes a habit which is repeated over and over and is done automatically.
