It would be a hung jury.
Forever.

So what's that look like in the long-term? Looks like murderers (e.g. Hamas) get away with kidnapping, rape and murder, forever and ever. Because we jurors can't come to an agreement.

This is why it's beyond reasonable doubt, and not beyond all doubt whatsoever.

Ever heard of the doctrine of clean hands?

If a murderer is guilty of murder they can't prosecute another murderer. The hypocrisy of it is so bad it's even a legal concept. It's the pot calling the kettle black.
From today's Wikipedia:

"
Confirmation bias is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms or supports one's prior beliefs or values. People display this bias when they select information that supports their views, ignoring contrary information, or when they interpret ambiguous evidence as supporting their existing attitudes. The effect is strongest for desired outcomes, for emotionally charged issues, and for deeply entrenched beliefs. Confirmation bias is insuperable for most people, but they can manage it, for example, by education and training in critical thinking skills.

Biased search for information, biased interpretation of this information, and biased memory recall, have been invoked to explain four specific effects:

1. attitude polarization (when a disagreement becomes more extreme even though the different parties are exposed to the same evidence)
2. belief perseverance (when beliefs persist after the evidence for them is shown to be false)
3. the irrational primacy effect (a greater reliance on information encountered early in a series)
4. illusory correlation (when people falsely perceive an association between two events or situations). ... .

So? Is it true that there is a legal doctrine of clean hands? What does that have to do with confirmation bias?

Explain how it applies with Israel " doing "whatever it takes to prevent another 1200 innocent civilian people from getting butchered by Hamas."" "

They are killing in excess of 363 civilians a day with their bombing campaign, That's in excess of 132.000 civilians a year. Why that period of rime? Israel figures it will take them a year to defeat Hamas. I don't think Hamas has killed anywhere near that number of Israelis in their entire existence. Plus Israel created Hamas to fight Yassar Arafat and the PLO decades ago.

Here isa video of young Israeli kids who joined the Israeli army.

Here is a video of former President Obama where he sounds like Gary K (to nobody's surprise).

"Nobody's hands are clean" (about 2:00 in) ---- false. Hamas (Israel's neighbors) murdered 1200 innocent mostly Israelis (there were some American victims but we don't even talk about that). Israel rightly is trying to prevent that from ever happening again. Their hands are clean here, and everybody (even Obama) knows that the conflict would end, and all the Palestinians would be safe, if Hamas either turns themselves in, or if Palestinians bring Hamas to justice. It'd be over that day.

I don't think people who can't see this correctly are liars. But your vision's distorted. This isn't how the World works, it's not how human nature works, humans especially in society and culture, are only going to improve if they're evil, if they're occupied and forced to change. That's the only way you change hearts and minds on the ground. It's painstaking and long. You've got to commit like 50 years to it, longer than a full generation, if you want to exterminate something like anti-Semitism from a culture. That's how long it took us to clean up Germany.

We gave it a shot after the Civil War to eradicate white supremacy from the South, but we only gave it 12 years ---- not long enough. Those are our two pretty good data points. 12 years is not long enough and something like 50 years seems to work. It's a gigantic project.

Obama, Democrats and apparently Gary don't understand this.

Yeah, you know from my previous posting history that I'm a big fan of Obama. Just in case you didn't know, I'm the poster previously known as ffreeloader.

why the world was pressuring the victim of terror, Israel, instead of pressuring the terrorist “aggressor,” Hamas, whose surrender would end the war in Gaza and save the lives of many Palestinian civilians.

Blinken was answering questions from reporters in a year-end press conference when he delivered this response on the Gaza war:

Everyone would like to see this conflict end as quickly as possible. But if it ends with Hamas remaining in place, and having the capacity and the stated intent to repeat October 7th again and again and again, that’s not in the interests of Israel, it’s not in the interests of the region, it’s not in the interests of the world. And what is striking to me is that even as, again, we hear many countries urging to end this conflict, which we would all like to see, I hear virtually no one saying, demanding, of Hamas, that it stop hiding behind civilians, that it lay down its arms, that it surrender. This is over tomorrow, if Hamas does that. This would have been over a month ago, six weeks ago, if Hamas had done that. And how can it be that there are no demands made of the aggressor, and only demands made of the victim? So it would be good if there was a strong international voice pressing Hamas to do what is necessary to end this. And, again — that could be tomorrow.
Video clips of Blinken’s remarks went viral among pro-Israel social media users — though, curiously, the United States, which is one of five permanent members of the UN Security Council, has not introduced a resolution calling on Hamas to surrender.

Yay! 🥳

That's 363 supporters of Hamas!
Ah yes, the 5 year olds Hamas fighters, Which is not really a comment on the atrocious activities of Hamas but what did all the countries involved think?
After WWII the West threw out the Palestinians and gave territory to Israel. The rest of the Arab world ignored the Palestinians. So Israel was allowed to create an apartheid country and Israel continued to uproot existing Palestinians.
Hamas was allowed to foment its particular brand of hatred while locked up in Gaza getting funded from other crazies (and apparently with Israel turning a blind eye).
Israel has no choice but to pursue Hamas. Hamas has it set up that the end result is the death of tens of thousands of civilians and the destruction of Gaza and its infrastructure.
When this is "over" do you think everyone will make nice or will the hatred remain? I suspect the latter.
Ironic that that both cultures are based on father Abraham.
