ISRAEL IS THE FOCAL POINT OF THE BELIEVERS

Christians know that it is now HEAVENLY JERUSALEM that is the focus of God's plans. You have apparently missed Jesus' declaration concerning earthly Jerusalem: "I say to you, The kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation producing its fruits." (Matt.21:43)

"But YOU [Christians] are 'a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a special possession,' that you should declare abroad the excellencies of the one that called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. For you were once not a people, but are now God's people." (I Peter 2:9,10)

"We have such a high priest as this, and he [Jesus] has sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a public servant of the holy place and of the true Temple, which God put up, and not man." (Hebrews 8:1,2)

Jesus' Kingdom will always be in heaven. He can guide us just fine from there. As Galatians 4:26 says: "The Jerusalem above is free, and she is our 'mother.'" In chapter 6 it is stated that JESUS' death is the center of what Christians should be looking at, and "the Israel of God" is "all those who walk orderly by this rule of conduct," that is, boasting only in Christ.

Do you see that? "The Israel of God" is now the Christian congregation.

Yes but what YOU do not see is

a)
Jerusalem is to descend from heaven and be planted on earth

B)
God's plan for the fullness of time [a synonym for the 1,000 years) is to UNITE ALL THINGS in Christ whether they be things in heaven or things on earth.

Now we see not that all things at the present time are united to Christ and He tells us that right up to the time of His coming they will not be united...therefore there is an age yet to come

The New Jerusalem is HEAVENLY.

You are confusing spiritual things and earthy things.

The promise to restore is not made to the remnant, the remnant have no need of restoration. The promise of restoration and acceptance and fullness spoken about by Paul in the 11th chapter of Romans is made to those who were cast away, to those who fell, the disobedient. It is those who were graffed out who will be graffed back in.

UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURE

the scripture runs thus

If God had not kept for Himself a remnant we would have fared as Sodom and be made like unto Gomorrah

But Israel was not made like unto Gomorrah or did they fare as Sodom, God utterly destroyed those cities forever. But the Jews He has not destroyed, if you at all understood God's marvels you would see how it is a miracle of preservation how during 2, 000 years of scattering Israel has remained a nation within the nations.

The purpose of the seed or remnant is not to destroy Israel but to SAVE Israel.

You like it fine that Jesus is to stay in heaven and you can grab His kingdom on earth. You want that kingdom but the King you do not want.

Neither will you be born again of the Spirit that He might DWELL IN you.....you have got a shock coming unless you change.

As I understand it, in Christian Zionism, the remnant is sometimes acknowledged to be the remnant Paul speaks about in Romans 11: 1-5, but for Christian Zionism there can be no remnant active after the First Century during the period of the New Covenant.

And - Christian Zionism makes use of a very different "Hermeneutic" than do those who are interested in the remnant as being the 144,000 and the remnant in Revelation 12: 17 who still have the testimony of Christ.

Because the Christian Zionist "Hermeneutic" is very different, there is no point in getting into prolonged arguments with Christian Zionists as individuals over the doctrines in Romans 11, etc. It is very important, though, to state the doctrines of scripture some of which do not agree with Christian Zionism.

ALL WERE BOUND TO DISOBEDIENCE.

Romans 11:32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

Jesus dwells in the saved, and we know them by their fruits. You believe Jesus dwells in you? Tell me what it is that you think is your proof that I have not seen, for Jesus tells us how, so how about you tell us.

Christian Zionists cannot acknowledge that a remnant now exists who see Christian Zionism as a false doctrine and another Gospel. But remnant implies having the testimony of Jesus Christ, that is, being in agreement with all his Truth and not just parts of it.

If some Christian Zionists came to believe that a remnant does exist who see their theology as being false, unless God opened their understanding, they would use various practices of the dialectic to defend their theology.

Nonsense, the LORD Jesus bore sin on the cross once and for all two-thousand years ago.

Contradict yourself much?

Acts 26:20 First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds.

Sin was paid for then...but anyone who wants to enter that must come through that blood and Jesus will bear those sins when one repents of their sins to him.
