The new "sabbath" is faith in the Gospel
And we realize faith does not negate what God created.
On the contrary faith honors God's creation.
The new "sabbath" is faith in the Gospel
The exact meaning is--
Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance
Neither you, nor Nang, nor IP were EVER under the first covenant made with Israel.
Really is that simple; the second covenant was with and for the same people the first one.
Whereas Gentiles...strangers...aliens...without hope.
Stealing from God, that's what it is. Spiritual larceny, Stam called it.
All the sons of the first Adam, born into this world, are under the Old Covenant that condemns all mankind to death. All the sons of Adam are sinners and cannot keep the Old Covenant commands. Romans 3:9-19, 5:12-21
The entire world is guilty before God.
That includes you . . .
Ephesians 2:2-3
Wrong.
The Old Covenant is with all humanity, and the Grace of God rescues souls out of all humanity, from the condemnation of the OC, through Jesus Christ.
The Grace of God is the New and better Covenant ratified by the sacrificial blood and body of the Incarnate Son of God.
Such is the Everlasting Gospel, which you manage to profane with your posts.
(The nation of Israel were not the beginning and end of all things as you dispies seem to think!)
Made up.
You were never under the first covenant.
Made up.
You do not understand that the commands and Law Adam received from God, is the same as Moses received from God.
And commands constituted the Covenant Adam was responsible to keep.
Adam broke the Law (Covenant) and sin/death was imputed to him, his wife, and all his offspring.
Have you ever studied the doctrine of "Imputation?" as it revealed in Romans 5:12-21?
If not, then you do not understand grace or the imputation of Christ's righteousness, either.
That was a bit of a doozy :dizzy:
Made up.
The Bible tells us who the Old Covenant, mediated by Moses, was made with.
Drop your SOF and adopt the Holy Bible.
Some would rather cling to fantasies, than clear words in the text.
It is sad.
So Abraham was not under any Covenant at all?
If there was no Law (Covenant) before Moses, how come all men suffered death from Adam on?
:chuckle:
Not the old covenant, mediated by Moses, for the children of Israel.
What Covenant do you think Abraham was under? What were the terms?
Romans 5:12-13 (KJV)
I do not see IN THE HOLY BIBLE where he was under any covenant, until God made a covenant with him.
