Hi to all and in Acts 3:23 it is written , " And it will be ( that ) every soul who would not HEAR that PROPHET ( JESUS ) will be UTTERLY DESTROYED from out of the people !!

I say that the people by context is Israel !!

#1 , Who is that Prophet ?

#2 , The verb " ESOMAI /,IT SHALL COME TO PASS " is in the Greek FUTURE TENSE so why is is it in the Future Tense ?

#3 , The verb " HEAR / AKOVO " is in the AORIST TENSE or the Past tense and done with 2000 years ago !

#4 , The last verb is " SHALL BE DESTROYED / EXOIETHEUO " and is also in the FUTURE TENSE , PASSIVE VOICE and in the Indicative Mood of a FACT !

#5 , Some will say that it is in 2 parts , a NEAR VIEW and a FAR VIEW and ONE happened 2000 years ago and the second part will happen at the end of the Great Tribulation , BUT it did happen at 70 AD when Israel was set aside as RECORDED in Acts 13:46 Acts 18:6 and Acts 28 :28 and Luke 13:6-9 !

They were DESTROYED and PENTECOSTALISM is no more , " until the FULNESS of the Gentiles be come in , Rom 11:25 !!

Verse 12 explains who Peter is addressing.

Verse 26 Explains who the prophet is.

Hi and all PENTECOSTALS will never see that , will they ?

And will never comment on the verb tenses , since they are Low Informational INFANTS ?

What are you between 1 and 10 being Mature ?

You better watch out,
You better not cry,
You better not pout,
I'm telling you why:
SATAN is coming to town!

He's making a list,
And checking it twice,
Gonna find out who's naughty or nice.
SATAN is coming to town!
He sees you when you're sleeping,
He knows when you're awake.
He knows when you've been bad or good,
So be good for goodness sake!

Indeed the context and the addressee is Israel.

However, a work man of the word does not discard the law of Moses or any thing written about events pre Pentecost simply because we are no longer under the law for righteousness.

Romans 15:4

That would mean discarding such truths as Deuteronomy 6:4-5

Are we not to love God even though we are not under the law?

Being in grace, we are still to love God with as much fervor and diligence as any before us.
