US Police Kill More Than 1,000 Americans per Year (3 per day)
vs. 0 in UK in 2013, 4/year in Germany, 12/yr in Canada

This is not a fact. From your own article:

Attempts by journalists
to compile more complete data by collating local news reports have resulted in estimates as high as 1,000 police killings a year.

According to the FBI (again from your own article) According to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report, in 2013 there were 461 “justifiable homicides” by police

Here are 15 jobs more dangerous than being a police officer:

Your poll is also incorrect about officers who died in the line of duty in 2013:

According to statistics collected by the FBI, 76 law enforcement officers were killed in line-of-duty incidents in 2013.

Seems where you are getting your information, has outright lied about things. Also if we used the actual numbers, then police officer would be the second most dangerous job on your list, at 76

The chart is 2013 fatal injury rate per 100,000 workers.

Tinark is being misleading, posts that and then makes this comment about it: (when they are not even remotely the same)

Thats blatantly false.

As zoo pointed out, your reading comprehension seems to be lacking. The first data point is a rate per 100,000. It is accurate.

The second claim is elaborated upon in the article I linked to:

The true number of fatal police shootings is surely much higher, however, because many law enforcement agencies do not report to the FBI database.

This article goes in depth on the 1,000 number (which was a source provided by the article in the OP).

To call the number "blatantly false" really shows me that you have thick blinders on.

No its not, the article states that FBI measure only some of the police shootings and 461 and the number of about 100 is an extrapolation based on best evidence.

Its an approximation not blatantly false.

You also need to understand rates per 100,000 people before you start making proclamations over stats being right or wrong.
