You were taught to misunderstand the filthy rag scripture.

How do you EVER get that obeying God is as a filthy rag?!

The Jews who had to do a righteous act of giving a sin offering, which included offering BLOOD, God did not like it that they would sin then give a sin offering and not really be sorry for their sins; that made the blood offering as a menstrual bloody rag offering. Not being truly sorry for the sin is what made the righteous act of sacrificing animals for their blood as a filthy rag.

Before you were allowed in school, you had conditions you had to make before you could just walk in. Your parents had to fill out a form. They probably had to prove where they lived, and give immunization records.

Before you were hired for your first job, you had to apply for the job, fill out an application, have an interview.

If you joined the military; or if you got a driver's license, a gun license, you had to do something.

I can go on and on proving easily that a person has to do something and not doing anything is insane and unreasonable.

God wants people that can be reasoned with; do you want to suffer wrath?

You are spiritually blind. The teachings of Jesus are impossible to do or to keep. Jesus taught the law to show you that you don't measure up to God's standards and that you need a savior. Only a blind fool would think that they can keep the commandments.
