I disagree. It was an important event. It brought this federal regime and system into alignment with its charter a little better. It only affects like six or seven states, just the ones with "may issue" policies wrt gun permitting. They have to be "shall issue" like all the rest of the states are.
It's one step closer to national reciprocity wrt CCW. That's absolutely a huge, good thing, if we can get there.
I mean you know; you're crossing state lines all the time unless I miss my guess. If you carry, you have to know what all the laws are in each state, which is chaotic and disorganized, so if and when this leads to a more uniform policy in all states it will make things even better.
And it's all brought to us by our Constitution. Our framers gave us today's SCOTUS ruling. They're the ones who conceived this government. Republicans are the ones who nominate the judges who believe what the framers believed.
