Celibacy isn't simply about the denial of desire or sex. If they're homosexual then the attraction is there regardless and it obviously happens and unchosen at that. Only zealots and nuts deny that.

That's because some people only look at the outside of a person, while we know to look at the heart. :)
It's a strange philosophy that believes that our attractions to others are forced upon us by some outside force that we have no control over.

Some sort of sealed fatalism.

I don't. If someone strikes me as beautiful or attractive then it's not a conscious decision to decide it. It just happens. What do you do? Mull things over as to whether they are or not?
