Things which constitute Christ as Our Savior !

Things which constitute Christ as Our Savior !

Christ is not everyones Savior, though He is the Savior of the Whole World, but rest assured, the whole World He is a Savior to 1 Jn 4:14, everyone in it is Saved by Him !

Now here are biblical Truths that confirm Christ as Our Saviour, for everyone He is a Saviour unto, He for them, by His Death, and confirmed by His Resurrection, abolished Death for 2 Tim 1:10

10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Listen, if anyone has Christ for their Saviour, its impossible for them to remain Spiritually dead in trespasses and sins Eph 2:1,5

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

Those He saves He makes alive from being dead in sin, why ? Because He has abolished death for them !

If a person tells us that Christ died for a person that stays dead in trespasses and sins all their days upon earth, that person is telling a lie, simply because Christ as ones Saviour, by abolishing death, has Saved them from that plight !

Things which constitute Christ as Our Savior ! 2

Things which constitute Christ as Our Savior ! 2

So our first blessing that determines whether or not Christ is Our Savior or not is that everyone He is a Savior unto, for them He has abolished death 2 Tim 1:10

9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Without abolishing death, He is not and cannot be a Saviour !

Another blessing derived from Him being a Saviour is that all whom He is a Saviour to He gives them Repentance and Remission of sins Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

That word repentance is the greek word metanoia and means:

repentance, a change of mind, change in the inner man.

So everyone Christ is a Risen Exalted Savior and Prince to, He gives them a change of mind, and a change in the inner man !

If Christ does not bestow these Gifts upon one, then He was never their Risen and Exalted to Right Hand of God Savoir and Prince !

The bestowal of these Gifts prove and validate He is Saviour ! Its like when Paul wrote in Rom 8:32

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

All things like Repentance, a Change of Mind, and a Change in the inner man ! Just like in Acts 5:31, so likewise Rom 8:34

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

He is risen, exalted to the Right Hand of God to give Repentance and Remission of sins, To Gods Elect Rom 8:33, in Acts 5:31 its to Israel, a Elect People !

One has no Right to claim Jesus Christ as their Savior if He has not granted or given them Repentance Acts 5:31 !

Things which constitute Christ as Our Savior ! 3

Things which constitute Christ as Our Savior ! 3

If Christ is ones Savior, He must and does give them Faith, since Faith must accompany repentance which He gives as Savior Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

And Repentance first and foremost is unto the acknowledging of the Truth 2 Tim 2:25

25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

The word give here is the same word give in Acts 5:31, the greek word didōmi and means:

A.of one's own accord to give one something, to his advantage

i.to bestow a gift

Also Faith comes from God and Christ Our Saviour 2 Pet 1:1

Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

If Christ is Our Saviour, from Him we must obtain Faith. Its obtained as a result of Him giving it Acts 5:31, that word obtain is the greek word lagchanō and means:

I.to obtain by lot

A.to receive by divine allotment, obtain

II.to cast lots, determine by lot

Simply put, If Christ is Our Saviour, we receive from Him Faith ! Theres no such thing as a Saviour who doesnt give them He saves Faith, since man in a lost state doesnt have it !

Grace reigns unto beliving !

Grace reigns unto beliving !

Those of us who believe, we believed not by or because of our freewill as some falsely teach, but we believe by and through the Grace of God Acts 18:27

27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through[on account of] grace:

Thats the outcome of Grace reigning through the Righteousness by Jesus Christ Our Lord Rom 5:21

21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

The effectual working of Grace [Gods Power] as Per Eph 3:7

7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Grace performs an Effectual Work, makes us servants/believers of God through Jesus Christ,

And this effecual working of Grace reigns and overcomes sin and death, thats why its preposterous to suppose that men can resist Sovereign Grace in the Day of its Power, Ps 110:3, its like saying man has the will and ability to resist their death in the day of its power, which is absurd Ecc 8:8

There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

But yet, false teachers tell us that mans will has power over Gods Grace, a Greater Power than death, what a contradiction, one which gives the greater power to man, sin, and death, than Christ and His Grace reigning because of Righteousness !

They make God Unjust !

They make God Unjust !

The false teachers who teach that Christ died for the sins of all mankind without exception, and yet many of those die in their sins in unbelief Jn 8:24, They make God Unjust, and heres why:

All for whom Christ died, had their sins imputed to Christ 1 Cor 15:3; 2 Cor 5:21, and Christ by His death made a full satisfaction to Gods Justice for them, so much so, their sins cannot and will not be imputed back to them 2 Cor 5:19

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Now, if any for whom Christ died shall yet die in their sins in unbelief Jn 8:24, It makes God Unjust, because He is again punishing them for sins that Christ has already made a full Satisfaction for, He has already Satisfied Gods Justice for.

For any sinner Christ died for, shall die for any one sin that God charged to Christ, then God turned around and charged back to the sinner, so the sinner shall die in it in unbelief Jn 8:24, God is Unjust for now executing wrath a second time, once upon Christ, and now upon the sinner for whom Christ died, which is against the Righteousness and Justice of God to do !

But the enemies of the Lord do charge God with this injustice, if as they claim , Christ died for even sinners that shall die in their sins in unbelief Jn 8:24 !

What do you believe today ? Are you one that Christ has satisfied the Justice of God for all without exception, even them that go into hell for their sins in unbelief ? If you believe that, you make God Unjust !

What Romans 5:18b Teaches !

What Romans 5:18b Teaches !

Rom 5:18

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

It teaches that Christ's Righteous act in living and dying for the sins of the Elect, or all whom He represented as Surety, His Sheep/Church, resulted in Justification of Life, hence all men without exception cannot be meant here by the phrase [all men], simplly because all men without exception do not have Justification of Life, for instance these 2 Pet 2:9

The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Rev 22:11

He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

The Unjust here cannot be of those, who by the one Righteous act , upon them came Justification of Life !

Rom 5:18

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

The Elect sinner is never under actual condemnation. I have read in the past writers whom i have much respect for the things they write, but do take a difference on their conclusion, one of them writes: " he that denies the elect sinner being in a state of nature under actual condemnation for Adams sin, and his own inherited and committed iniquity, must consequently deny the imputation or charge of sin in any sense" .

Now this statement sounds correct, but its not. It is true that the elect are born sinners out of the fall of adam, and that in adam they are under the power of sin Eph 2:2-3, but what is not true is that they are under actual condemnation for being in such a ungodly state. We acknowledge that the condemnation actually accrued by them Rom 5:18a was an actual condemnation they deserved, however the condemnation was actually charged to Christ their Surety Head instead of upon them personally, for it was their condemnation that was charged to Christ that made it imperative that He should suffer and die for their sins, so it being actually charged to Christ, made it that they had to be discharged from it, it could not be charged to both them and Christ. So it is even when they are in a state of nature Eph 2:2-3, while being enemies Rom 5:10 they are still reconciled to God, so cannot be both reconciled as enemies and condemned as enemies, that creates a contradiction ! So the condemnation they did accrue Rom 5:18a was charged to Christ their Surety, discharging them from it!

Now the elect sinner can become sensible of their sinfulness and be self condemned as the Publican did Lk 18:13

13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Or when John writes about our hearts condemning us 1 Jn 3:20

20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

But thats not God condemning us, but our own heart, and so the elect do at times become made sensible of their wretchedness of nature, however they also come to the realization that all condemnation they are sensible to has always been charged to Christ, and thats even part of the Good News of the Gospel !

I never knew you !

I never knew you !

This statement can never apply to anyone Christ died for, because He specifically died for His Sheep and He declares that He knows them Jn 10:14-15

14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

Not only that, Christ died also as the High Priest of His People Heb 2:17

17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people[by His Death Rom 5:10].

Now the OT Aaronic Priesthood Typified Christ's in this, and that High Priest did not offer up to God for them He did not know, but only for the Known people of God Ex 28:9-12,29

9 And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel:

10 Six of their names on one stone, and the other six names of the rest on the other stone, according to their birth.

11 With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel: thou shalt make them to be set in ouches of gold.

12 And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial unto the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord upon his two shoulders for a memorial.

29 And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the Lord continually.

And now this has been fulfilled in Christ the Antitype High Priest of the New Covenant, and is one of the reasons why Paul wrote that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that is the OT Typology according to the High Priest, hence again Heb 2:17, and so those in Matt 7:23 could not have been any that He died for according to the scripture 1 Cor 15:3 as their High Priest !

TY, Perfectly explained!

The Elect in Christ Eph. 1:4-5 have been Justified even from eternity because their sin
and condemnation were imputed to their Surety Head Christ Jesus Heb. Rom. 4:8; Heb. 7:22.

Rom. 8:1a
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus

However, the non-elect were condemned already John 3:18!

Raised unto a Newness of Life !

Raised unto a Newness of Life !

Rom 6:4

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

If Christ lived, died and rose again for us, it should cause us to walk in the newness of life. Understand something, there's no ifs, buts or maybes about it, its inevitable and consequential that those Christ died for and rose again for as their Surety Savior, that out of that they receive newness of life as an evidence of His Headship/Suretyship of them, for it would have failed the Purpose of God, if what He accomplished on the Cross for them, by Satisfying Gods Law and Justice for their sins, did not also effect for them a Newness of Life.

Now a companion scripture of this same Truth, that confirms Rom 6:4 is 1 Pet 1:3

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Understand, that out of the Resurrection of Christ, those He died for, because He rose as their Surety Head, are begotten again. The word for begotten us again is anagennaō:

I.to produce again, be born again, born anew

II.metaph. to have one's mind changed so that he lives a new life/newness of life and one conformed to the will of God

and it is New Life begotten into, that which Paul wrote of in Rom 6:4. This should be effected if indeed Christ in our behalf was raised from the dead, by the Glory of the Father, and so if that was the case, even so those He died for a rose for, should live in newness of Life, for the Two are inseparably joined in the Purpose of God, Rom 6:8-11

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Its also joined to Christ's Promise to His Church Jn 14:19

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

Thats a Promise that because He as their Surety Head rose from the dead for them, they shall also be raised from the dead, even spiritual death to newness of life !
