The footage being withheld isn't being withheld because it "contradicts leftist narratives." It's been provided to lawmakers in congressional committees. But because the footage contains sensitive information about the security of the Capitol building and the protective measures in place for the legislators within it, Capitol police don't want that information to fall into the hands of bad actors.

You first seemed to think no video was being withheld and now you admit hundreds of videos are being withheld for reasons given by those who would not want the information coming out if the information on the videos shows what conservatives claim they show.
I have heard some of the whining leftists complain about being injured on Jan. 6, but their injuries were all minor compared to the injuries hundreds of cops received last year at the hands of leftist rioters. Those uncivilized mobs of tribal barbarians did real damage, not like the wimpy injuries whiney-butt leftists may foolishly imagine are life-threatening even if they do not require medical attention.

You are right. Crooked politicians and their supporters and advisors do spin truth into lies that lend support to the false narratives they spin to protect the democrat party and politicians against proper judgment and justice for their crimes.
I studied the details of what has been made public about the Kennedy assassination and easily became fully convinced those who conspired to murder Kennedy were politicians, government officials, and mobsters who all had strong motives for seeing Kennedy dead. Why is the government still hiding information they have about the assassination from the public? I suspect the reason has more to do with protecting the guilty than anything else. Robert Mueller fought for years to keep an innocent man in prison just to hide the fact that the man was wickedly framed by the FBI with J Edgar Hoover's full consent.

In 1992, former President George H. W. Bush signed into law a bill that declared the federal government should eventually enable the public to access “all government records” concerning Mr. Kennedy’s death.
However, nearly 30 years later, thousands of documents still remain shrouded in secrecy even as tens of thousands of assassination records with various levels of redactions have been released. So far, more than 90% of records detailing the assassination have been released.
Mr. Kennedy was killed while riding in a motorcade in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963. Former Marine Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested for the murder, but he was assassinated two days later by nightclub owner Jack Ruby, who died in 1967.

Jan. 6 Protest Organizers Say They Participated in ‘Dozens’ of Planning Meetings With Members of Congress and White House Staff
As the House investigation into the Jan. 6 attack heats up, some of the planners of the pro-Trump rallies that took place in Washington, D.C., have begun communicating with congressional investigators and sharing new information about what happened when the former president’s supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol. Two of these people have spoken to Rolling Stone extensively in recent weeks and detailed explosive allegations that multiple members of Congress were intimately involved in planning both Trump’s efforts to overturn his election loss and the Jan. 6 events that turned violent.
Rolling Stone separately confirmed a third person involved in the main Jan. 6 rally in D.C. has communicated with the committee. This is the first report that the committee is hearing major new allegations from potential cooperating witnesses. While there have been prior indications that members of Congress were involved, this is also the first account detailing their purported role and its scope. The two sources also claim they interacted with members of Trump’s team, including former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, who they describe as having had an opportunity to prevent the violence.
The two sources, both of whom have been granted anonymity due to the ongoing investigation, describe participating in “dozens” of planning briefings ahead of that day when Trump supporters broke into the Capitol as his election loss to President Joe Biden was being certified.
“I remember Marjorie Taylor Greene specifically,” the organizer says. “I remember talking to probably close to a dozen other members at one point or another or their staffs.” . . . .
These two sources also helped plan a series of demonstrations that took place in multiple states around the country in the weeks between the election and the storming of the Capitol. According to these sources, multiple people associated with the March for Trump and Stop the Steal events that took place during this period communicated with members of Congress throughout this process.
Along with Greene, the conspiratorial pro-Trump Republican from Georgia who took office earlier this year, the pair both say the members who participated in these conversations or had top staffers join in included Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.), Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), and Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas). . . .
The two potential witnesses plan to present to the committee allegations about how these demonstrations were funded and to detail communications between organizers and the White House. According to both sources, members of Trump’s administration and former members of his campaign team were involved in the planning. Both describe Katrina Pierson, who worked for Trump’s campaign in 2016 and 2020, as a key liaison between the organizers of protests against the election and the White House.
