We know according to scripture that the "whole world" in 1 John 2:2 can't be all men without exception
since many are condemned already John 3:18 and under the wrath of God John 3:36

Exactly, the World in 1 Jn 2:2 is not under Gods Wrath, for it Gods Wrath has been propitiated !

because God has not been propitiated for their sins: Christ did not shed His Blood for them Rom. 3:25!

So then, the "whole world" in 1 John 2:2 can only mean God's Elect, which come from the whole world;
from all nations, both jew and gentile Rev. 5:9; 14:6.

It is very apparent that you do not understand the Gospel that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.

Your statements are in conflict with God's word.

Christ has ALREADY atoned for the sins of the whole world, 1 John 4:14.

Salvation now belongs to everyone that wants to be saved, Hebrews 2:9.

"Whosoever that shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, Romans 10:13.

Not really. All you've done is to isolate yourself from others of whom you don't approve as if your beliefs are the only ones that matter.

My beliefs are based upon scripture.

Your problem is that you don't like what the Bible says.

Are you just making this up as you go?

Absolutely! His opinions not only change from thread to thread, but even from post to post in the same thread. Even definitions of words change. It's nearly impossible to get any serious meaningful conversation that makes any sense.

Robert Pate,

You preach half truth, half truth is the same as lie.

You are no different from Calvinism whom you despise, in the bottom line.

YOur preaching is a humongous mess.

If you agreed with what I say I would be concerned, 1 Corinthians 2:14.

It is not a half truth to say that Jesus has defeated sin, death and the devil and in doing so has reconciled the whole world unto God. Making your religion worthless.

You have a serious problem with the Bible. You believe that the Bible contradicts its self.

The term "ALL MEN" appears in the Bible 34 times.

Paul wrote, "Who will have ALL MEN to be saved" 1 Timothy 2:4.

It is God's will that ALL MEN should be saved. You are in conflict with the Bible and the will of God.

That Scripture pertains to the Elect of God, hence Paul writes in his second epistle to Timothy 2 Tim 2:10

10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Salvation in Christ Jesus with Eternal Glory is for Gods Elect, Israel Isa 45:17

17 But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

Christians are now God's new spiritual Israel, Not Jews.

The elect are those who have come to Christ as repentant sinners to be saved by him. Something that you refuse to do.

"God is not willing that any should be lost and would have all men to be saved, and to come into the knowledge of the truth" 1 Timothy 2:4.

God promised to Save Israel, that is it !

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God. (Galatians 6:15-16 NKJV)

There is an Israel of the OT and there is an Israel of the NT. They are not the same.

Isaiah 1:19-20
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Obedience deals more with one's life on Earth. It is taught that, if you trust and obey in the Lord, He will bless you with fruits.

This is something commonly taught in churches, if not indirectly. If you forgive trespasses, you will not find yourself trespassing to make a life. If you do as the Scriptures say, your life will not be led into calamity. Anon anon
