It's better to err on the side of love, mercy and forgiveness.
It's possible to "love" someone straight to Hell.

It's part and parcel of the forum and to be fair, it's been that way since it started. That being said, the former owner and founder of this site expressed regret for the way the forum was going and unfairly blamed himself in part. You're quite right. Insults and throwaway name calling have no place in constructive, adult and mature debate and it only reflects poorly on those who are reduced to such instead of actual argument.
