If the truth is taught there, yes... if not, no.
I agree.
If the truth is taught there, yes... if not, no.
Yes
Scripture speaks of gathering in God's name so I see nothing inherently anti-biblical. Until religion gets involved.
Fellowship with like minded people. Support. Prayer. Friendship. Judgement. Condemnation. Hate. There are many things you can find in a church. Some are good. Many are evil.
You really do ask the silliest questions. If many of the things found in a church are evil, is there any better option for a Christian?
And go where?Of course... GET OUT OF THERE!
Go anywhere... if a church is teaching evil, get out of it and find one that is good. And go where?
What is the alternative?
Can you be a Christian and not go to church?
Is going to church Biblical or anti-Biblical?
No, it wasn't PLAIN and everyone but you is able to see that clearly.
Go anywhere... if a church is teaching evil, get out of it and find one that is good.
If you can't find one that it is good, start one.
There are verses in God's Word that speak of the gathering together and having Deacons, etc, so it appears there are good reasons for having a regular church establishment to attend.
And go where?
What is the alternative?
The Hebrew wannabees are so funny.

It's also reasonable to gather together in His name, to worship Him, together with other Christians.Personally, I believe it's best to attend a Christ-centered, Bible-believing 'church' in order to have fellowship with other believers and to learn.
So long as there is a bona fide priest there (Holy Orders, Apostolic succession) to validly celebrate the Eucharist, then that is 'church'---no distinction from 'a private worship service at home' in such case. Without clergy there, then it is limited, since there can be no valid celebration of the Eucharist. Acts 2:42 KJV 'breaking of bread'Thank you.
Does the 'church' provide anything that a Christian could not get from a private worship service at home (the way they did in Paul's time)"
Also, bishops/overseers/elders, yes. Along with deacons. There are verses in God's Word that speak of the gathering together and having Deacons, etc, so it appears there are good reasons for having a regular church establishment to attend.
Guaranteed, you can find an already existing Catholic Church parish. If not, check again. They are everywhere. The Catholic Church teaches good, not evil.Go anywhere... if a church is teaching evil, get out of it and find one that is good.
