Yes, a Christian can walk away from salvation. Can a Christian walk away from their salvation?
What say you?
Many Christians do it every day.
Eternal life is a promise.Absolutely not. Eternal life is eternal life. It is spirit. A negative attitude does not negate eternal life
1 John 2:25 25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. |
The promise will be fulfilled at the last trump:
1 Corinthians 15:52-54 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. |
Man has the choice on whether to do what is right or do what is wicked.
You can turn from righteousness and forfeit eternal life.
God will always reject the wicked.
For the rest, God chooses on a person by person basis whether that person's faith will be counted as righteousness and be worthy of eternal life.
