Can a Christian lose their salvation

Certainly!
Romans 8:29-30
"For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers."
Ephesians 2:8-9..........
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Romans 10:17.........
"So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ."
John 6:44.......
"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day."
EVERYONE has faith. Some more than others. The real question is what do you have faith in?
The only citing that came close to saying faith is a gift is the Eph. 2:8-9 one.
And the Eph. 2 "gift" is His grace, not faith.
You said.........
I am glad that His gifts also allow me to now live without sinning.
I am sorry to be the one to tell you this my dear friend, but you are wrong. YOU are just as much a sinner as was Hitler, Judas and ME!
I was...before I repented of sin. (Acts 3:26, 26:18,20)
I was...before the old me was destroyed and a new me was raised with Christ to walk in newness of life. (Rom 6:4)
Romans 3:23..........
"ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
Misused scripture, again.
Jesus didn't sin, so your point is moot.
If the repentant and reborn of God's seed still committed sin, then there is now sin in God in whom we walk.
That can't happen. (1 John 1:5)
You may very well be a FORGIVEN sinner...........But you are still a sinner!
Then rebirth from God's accomplishes nothing.
In fact, to say that ........"I am glad that His gifts also allow me to now live without sinning"......is the sin of PRIDE and that is the sin God hates the most!!!
The devil loves it when men use scripture against Godliness.
Jesus commanded us to be as perfect as God is perfect, in Matt 5:48.
Jesus' suffering, death, and resurrection facilitated a perfectly sinless life.
My statements glorify God, not me.

What exactly are you claiming God "provides" you, here, which you say you don't know if you "will take and use"?
I'm glad you asked !
First, is the gift of repentance from sin.
With that gift we can turn permanently from sin. (Acts 3:26)
Second, is the destruction of the old man. (Rom 6:6 Gal 5:24)
With that gift we no longer need walk in the flesh.
Third, is our rebirth and being raised with Christ to walk in newness of life. (Rom 6:4)
Now we can walk in the Spirit.
Fourth, the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38)
With that we have direct access to God, and from God too ! (Gal 6:8, Heb 4:16)
Also, when did or will God start "providing" you whatever it is you mean by "all I need not to sin"? While you were a sinner (if you even think you ever were a sinner!)?
He provides things one step at a time, starting with hearing the gospel.
Those who taught me that, then taught me about repentance and water baptism.
With a sincere repentance from sin, and cleaning the of the "temple", I received the gift of the Holy Ghost.
I have been learning, growing in grace and knowledge, from that point on.
Glory be to God !

I was...before the old me was destroyed and a new me was raised with Christ to walk in newness of life. (Rom 6:4)
Remember, you have been telling us you will not know until judgement day whether or not you have been buried and raised with Christ.

And, you already told us that you are not walking in newness of life:
That life will not be granted until the day of judgement.

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
1 Timothy 1:15[

Yep, Paul was the worst, due to his persecution of the church.
Did he continue to persecute the church after his conversion ?
No.
But that didn't nullify his past reputation.
According to @Hoping, Paul, chief of sinners, was not yet a Christian when he wrote his first epistle to Timothy.
He wasn't a Christians when he was persecuting the church.

Acts 3:26 says nothing about repentance from sin being a gift provided by God. And you just got done telling @Rodger that Scripture never says that faith is a gift provided by God:
The only citing that came close to saying faith is a gift is the Eph. 2:8-9 one.
And the Eph. 2 "gift" is His grace, not faith.
So, even though faith is not a gift from God, according to you, repentance somehow is?

According to you, you do not know that you are a Christian, and you won't know that you are a Christian until judgement day (if then).
Everyone will know where they stand on judgement day.
It is written..."For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God." (Rom 14:11)
Yet, you go about saying that you are a Christian, despite your admitted not-knowing that you are a Christian. So, what is that but you pretending to be a Christian? When are you going to stop pretending to be a Christian? (Which is to ask: When are you going to stop lying?)
Men will acts like Christians until/unless they stop acting like Christians.
Notice how you answer your own question in the negative by telling us that nobody can know until judgement day that a man is a Christian:
Nothing will be hidden on that day.
Since you admit that you do not know that you're a Christian (hint: you're not a Christian!), what business do you imagine you have, getting onto forums and pontificating your self-defeating, heretical stupidities to people who are Christians?
God has opened the eyes of some, and they will understand.

Which one of the following, two things did Paul write, and which one of them did he not write?

  2. "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I was, but no longer am chief."

The bulk of your posts consists of you making a clown of yourself in that way.

How can you be that stupid, man? By "unbelievers", I take it you mean people who are not saved--people who have no salvation to lose. So, what you've just handed us is:
Do you think the Corinthian adulterer was ever a believer?
Do you think the other Corinthians thought he was a converted man ?
Had he really been a believer, converted to Christianity, turned from sin, reborn of Gods seed, and had the gift of the Holy Ghost, he never would have committed adultery.

Yes.
Having faith is a choice.

He was still the worst of those Christ came to save.
Others may have taken that dubious honor since then.

@Hoping: <NO ANSWER>

Why do you refuse to answer my question, you Christ-hating, demon-possessed sinner?

And you take that to mean that a man's act of repenting is somehow a gift provided to him by God? You don't see "granted repentance unto life" as metonymy for "granted an opportunity to repent unto life"?
Yes.
Having faith is a choice.
So, repenting is not a choice?

You seem to post answers to my posts, but address them to someone else.
Paul said he was the "chief" of those who Christ died to save.

I don't know that he was, but the Bible gives zero reason to think that he was not.
Do you think the other Corinthians thought he was a converted man ?
Probably Corinthians who were Christians thought he was. Probably Corinthians who were, like you, anti-Christians and self-righteous, Christ-hating heretics said he was not.

It all comes down to the same thing.
God provided the means of our conversion and salvation.
So, repenting is not a choice?
It is now, but wasn't before the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Exactly, as appearances are sometimes false.
Probably Corinthians who were Christians thought he was.
Appearances are not really trustworthy indicators of a man's condition, religiously speaking.
Only his actions will manifest the truth of one's conversion.

There, you are agreeing with me that the Bible gives no reason to think the Corinthian adulterer was never a Christian. You are admitting that a person converted to Christ can commit adultery, and thereby contradicting your claim that a person converted to Christ cannot sin.
