Well, I agree it would be dumb, but a person’s silly ideas won’t get him cursed in actuality . That would border on superstition, don’t you think?

I was quoting Paul.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” - Galatians 3:10

Oh, sorry, it was a poor quote and therefore prone to misunderstand.

That was the bad part of the Laws of Moses. one had to obey every bit of it or fail completely. Jesus was the only one who did or could follow all of the law perfectly and not fail.

If you circumcise today because the Bible tells you to, then you are cursed to keep the law.
If this were the case then following the seven commandments that Jesus kept from the ten, would place you under the law....Actually, only if one decides to live under the laws of Moses (present day judaizers around the world) then they are cursed for unbelief in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many of those that follow Jesus' Gospel, also follow many of the traditions of Messianic Israel which were from the laws of Moses....

I’m thinking you’re referring to Messianic Jews, most of whom were raised following the Torah, and it’s a part of their family tradition. I liken it to believers who celebrate Christmas, maybe even let the kids go trick or treating. God sees our heart, and none of that will count against us. Burned up like chaff in the wind.

Do you not read the Bible? I wonder about people who go to a religious/political forum, and don't know what the Bible says.

2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. 3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law.

When faced with what Paul preached, some decided to not hold onto what he was saying, and instead become debtors to the law. Where the pathway to destruction is broad.

Reword your question. Or read what I said again. Focus on the obvious like "not possible".
Ah, you are speaking about the 'sealing by the Holy Spirit" your wording could also use a little update. (from life to death). are we speaking about the life and death of our Mortal Body or (the life / death of our soul). The latter part of the above, I agree with you.. The former, I do not agree.

It is the opposite direction of this.

24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

Then I agree as John 5:24 is concerning those who are believers in Jesus as God.
