Calvinism, Catholicism, Religion: A Wrong View of God

What a person believes about God will determine their doctrine and even their way of life.

Example: The Muslims believe that Allah is a waring God, so, they are always in conflict with others.

Calvinist believe that God does what he wants because he is sovereign. This means that he can throw people into hell for no reason and still be just.

Catholics believe that God is like a taskmaster. If you fail he will crack you on your back with his whip. Catholicim is the religion of you must, you must, you must and if you don't, you will be anathema.

The Bible knows nothing of these kinds of Gods. I have taken the following from The King James Dictionary on line.

THE GOODNESS OF GOD

"A perfection of his character which he excercises towards his creatures according to their various circumstances and relations (Psalm 145:8, 9. Psalm 103:8. 1 John 4:8). Viewed generally, it is benevolence; as excercised with the respect to the miseries of his creatures, it is mercy, pity, compassion and in the case of impenitent sinners, long suffering patience; as excercised communicating favor on the unworthy, It is grace, goodness and justice are the several aspects of one unchageable, infinitely, wise and sovereign moral perfection. God is not sometimes merciful and sometimes just, but he is eternally just and merciful. God is infinitly and unchangeably good, (Zephaniah 3:17) and his goodness is incomprehensible the finite mind, (Romans 11:35, 36). God's goodness appears in two things, giving and forgiving".

The Gospel reveals the nature and character of God. In the Gospel God does not punish the wrong doers or the ones that have sinned against him, instead he sends His only begotten Son into the world as a sacrifice for their sins. We read in John 3:16 that God so loves the world that he gives his only begotten Son. God has done all that he can do for the salvation of fallen man. Humanity has been reconciled unto God by the doing and the dying of Jesus, 2 Corinthians 5:18,19. The ball is now in humanities court. It is now up to humanity to accept God's free offer of reconciliation or to reject it. Either way, God remains just.

THE JUSTICE OF GOD "Tell ye and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no GOD else beside me; a just God and savior; there is none else beside me" Isaiah 45:21.

THE MERCY OF GOD, "(For the Lord thy God is a merciful God) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them" Deuteronomy 4:31.

THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD, "Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference" Romans 3:22.

It is because God is just, merciful and righteous that we can trust him. How can anyone possibly trust in a God that condemns people to hell for no reason other than they were born after Adam? The God of the Bible is JUST, MERCIFUL and RIGHTEOUS in all that he does.

Do you really believe that grace is when God condemns billions to hell for no reason?

You have a warped, perverted, twisted, view of the word grace.

Absolutely! The Doctrines of TULIP is the Gospel of God's Grace Acts 20:24

Yet Pate continues in sin and unbelief, mocking and scoffing,
and stands guilty of turning the Grace of our God into lasciviousness:

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation,
ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

WOE unto Him! Is. 45:9

Throw people into hell for no reason? Say what? The only "just" thing really, is for all men to go to hell for their sins! The wages of sin is death. Why would it not be just to be punished for sin? God is under no obligation to exercise mercy toward any person. He could have justly left the elect as well as the non-elect to perish in their sins. Just because God has decided to extend grace to some, based on his own purposes, in order that they might be spared and brought to salvation.....this somehow makes God unjust?

Nobody would be saved if it weren't for God's grace. How would justice be served if God just saved everybody and nobody paid for their sin? If the President, for instance, pardons a criminal and they are spared from having to be imprisoned, does this mean that all criminals should be pardoned? Is it unjust to send criminals to jail, just because a few are blessed with a pardoning?

How many people are in bondage to the Catholic Church because they are afraid to quit?
One can hardly call adhering to the divinely-revealed and authoritative teachings of Christ's one historic Church as "bondage"---except apparently one who, like yourself, is in bondage to the mere opinions of his own preferred recently-invented, man-made non-Catholic sect.

I can't think of a more oppresive religion than Catholicism.

When you look at the faces of the people in the Catholic congregation they all look like they have lost their freedom and are in jail.

There is no joy in it. Maybe that is why the priest wears black.

How can you say that Catholicism is "Christ one historic church" when there is no mention in the Bible of a Catholic church in Rome?

We know that there was a church in Jerusalem and we know that John wrote the book of Revelation to the seven churches in Asia, Revelation 1:11. The Catholic church is not listed in the letter to the seven churches in Asia.

Paul wrote the book of Romans to some people that were in Rome, but he didn't refer to is as a church, Romans 1:7.

How then can you refer to the Catholic church as "Christ one historic church"?
