I read to much of this thread. Now I'm hungry.
Lighthouse ought to return GM to his ignore list, lest some of GMs "ignorance"
should rub off on him, and he suddenly becomes some form of genius!! Just an
educated suggestion on GMs part!!!
you need to put him on yours
An interesting proposition, however; I would be in a position
of being unable to "outwit" his lack of wit!!
you're a good man grosnick!!!!!!
Are you trying to get a rise out of me?Now, don't get any "half-baked" ideas!!
However, to stand there and state that they were an abomination,
and that he refused to serve them is a wee bit judgmental and
that's God's place to judge! Not the Bakers or ours!!
We need not spend our time screaming and yelling derogatory names
at those who are "unsaved" and have not the Holy Spirit living within
them! God will judge the "unsaved" in due time; that's not our job as a believer in Christ!!
If a shop owner objects to "whatever" he should use a little
finesse, and find a kind way of being respectful to his potential
customer! Telling them they're an abomination and simply refusing
service isn't the way to do it!!
They said the owner immediately informed the men that he does not create cakes for gay weddings.
“It was the most awkward, surreal, very brief encounter,” Mullins, 28, told Denver Westward. ”We got up to leave, and to be totally honest, I said, ‘F**k you and your homophobic cake shop.’ And I may or may not have flipped him off.”
But Phillips defended his decision in an interview with television station KCNC in Denver.
“If gays come in and want to order birthday cakes or any cakes for any occasion, graduations, or whatever, I have no prejudice against that whatsoever,” Phillips told the television station. “It’s just the wedding cake, not the people, not their lifestyle.”

Romans 1:32 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. |
And now, for the other side of the story:
The owner showed finesse and simply refused service.
The baker only refuses to make a ceremonial object that will be used for a blasphemous act.
Now, explain why you have pleasure in supporting those that are committing acts tht are worthy of death.
Romans 1:32
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
You seem to ignore the fact that we're not living in the
Old Testament times!! Homosexuals, disobedient
children, and adulterers are not put to death now!
We're not under law, but under Grace!!
You seem to ignore the fact that Paul wrote in the New Testament to believing Christians that those who commit homosexual acts are worthy of death.
G.O. should stop!!
Why do you think I should stop correcting your errors?
Are you trying to make the blasphemous claim that unrepentant homosexuals can be saved?
Are you trying to make the blasphemous claim that unrepentant homosexuals can be saved?
Homosexuality is a lust of the flesh! (sin) Christ died for "THAT"
particular sin as well!! If the homosexual hears the message of
God's forgiveness, mercy, and eternal life through Christs shed
blood and resurrection and places his faith in Christ as Lord and
Savior and is "born-again Spiritually" he will be forgiven and will
gain eternal life!! Like it or not G.O. that's the way it is!!
