Nah. But I think his point is that his perspective is unique and allows him to have empathy there other people might not. To the point, I have never heard of someone experiencing a rape as... how did glory put it...

This is a very blatant disconnect between what she thinks occurs and what the reality of the situation is.

A perspective based on a flawed premise. The only way I can rationalize her perspective is if she believes that sex is on a level playing field; forced, coerced, consensual, or otherwise. That is, if you take the approach that all sex is the same regardless of circumstance, her point stands. But it isn't an approach rooted in reality and it is certainly not the same.
