Anybody know much about Islam?

I've been doing a lot of study about Islam these last 2 years. I find the public narrative to be completely wrong and most Christians are content to just spread lies about it, never bothering to do any fact checking, just accepting anything that's negative and passing it along on their Facebook wall.

From time to time I come up with questions where I wished I had a knowledgeable person to field those questions.

Anybody here fit that bill?

Just ask google. I feel that most of Islam are terrorists waiting to happen.

You engage in a lot of Confirmation Bias it would seem.

A lot of people thing they are "unquestioned" because they never ask a Muslim who has gotten some education in the subject.

Yes, many will, but not all. They are a very legalistic bunch.

You mean there is no interfaith between Evangelical/Pentecostal/Fundamentalist Christians and the vast majority of Muslims if you mean by interfaith being able to work together toward any common good. Too many theological sacred cows clogging up the road on both sides. Liberals and Progressives are better able to build bridges it seems. But if you mean by interfaith just dialogue so each side can get a better understanding of each other then that really depends on the individual. Interestingly enough since 9/11 Imams have reported quite an increase in inquiries from people just wanting to understand that faith better and the civil wars in Iraq and Syria are causing millions to come to faith in Christ.
