One thing I always say good about Muslim nations it that they know God's moral laws and take them seriously. I'm sure we'd disagree on a lot but there's very little crime in those nations, virtually no AIDS of other STD's, no drug problem, none of the ultra sick pornography which has infected the entire rest of the world, extremely strong family values and ties and young men grow up respecting their elders and the girls don't grow up as sluts.
They'll perish because they received not the love of the truth, but they lived a cleaner life. :plain:

Yeah - so before Jesus God didn't care about the gentiles at all?

The OT was for the Jews ans the Jews only. Thus all the Prophets of the OT were Israelites or the fathers of the Israelites. But was Abraham a Jew or Christian?

But Muslims believe that God cared about all nations. The Torah was given to Israel but there were other Scriptures given to other nations. We have a couple of Arab prophets mentioned in the Quran but the sum of all the Prophets are 124,000 send to all nations.

In Islam the gentiles were not ignored. Unfortunately Christianity steps from a book that is Jewish in origin.

Job was a gentile and so was the entire city of Nineveh who were granted repentance.

I think they claimed that it was someone else that died on the cross and Jesus continued to live til old age.

If there is no compulsion in religion, why do any who renounce Islam, or try to, risk murder by the faithful?

The Bible says that JESUS is going to Destroy all the Muslims and decimate

their Countries .

What does the Koran say.

Isa 19:1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud,

and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence,

and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians:

and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour;

city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof:

İ'm bored. Fire me on some questions and İ'll be glad to answer! :)

Yeah it should have been an "an".
Well met!

How are people of your faith where you live handling the fanatically violent slivers of Islam running about of late? Is it difficult because they're flying under the Islamic flag or do you find a clear duty/obligation to oppose that rooted in your faith?

Would you also allow me to judge Christianity by the inquisitions?

I am wise to know that it had no basis in Scripture. Same here.

Some or I say a few are sympathetic of their cause (fighting Assad (God's curse be on him), genuine grievances against the sectarion govt of Iraq) but all condemn their brutal tactics and extremist goals.

Muslims do find issue with the US's foreign policy but when a terrorist gang go killing in the name of God and Islam - it is they who should earn our wrath.

This was already fulfilled. And Muslims are spread all over the globe. And they don't worship idols.

But there are indeed Islamic Prophecies pointing towards the breaking of the caliphate and the infighting within the Ummah.

This is a non-exhaustive list of things with a political dimension promised by God (out of the top of my head):

1) The breaking of the Caliphate
2) An era where Muslims would be ruled by tyrants and despots
3) After that a restoration of the Caliphate
4) Muslims spreading to every corner after the Christians
5) The return of the nation of Israel into one place - in their promised land.
6) The appearance of anti-Christs that take over the Churches
8) The deacendance of Jesus as King of Jews and Israel.
9) Israel would once again reject Christ in favour of an Antichrist
10) Jesus proves himself by destroying the antiChrists and leading Israel
11) Jesus destroys the cross and spreads the truth
12) Jesus dies a natural death after living a life on a peaceful earth

You can't judge the true ecclesia by the inquisitions, because that was religion at work. The Eternal Almighty hates religion.

As for the koran:
Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them(2:191)
Make war on the infidels living in your neighboorhood (9:123)
When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them (9:5)
Kill the Jews and the Christians if they do not convert to Islam or refuse to pay Jizya tax (9:29)
Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable (3:85)
The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them (9:30)
Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticise Islam. (5:33)
The infidels are unclean; do not let them into a mosque (9:28)
Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies
(22:19)
Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them (47:4)
The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them (8:65)
Muslims must not take the infidels as friends (3:28)
Terrorise and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an (8:12)
Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorise the infidels (8:60)

I hope you see our differences. It doesn't mean you must agree with the position of the soteriology but if you cannot see the difference you have a problem.

In trusting that Yeshua is God I believe that the righteousness of God has been imputed to me by grace thru faith. This is different than your interpetation of Gentile salvation. According to Paul the very righteousness of God can be attained by us apart from works. We get this righteousness by trusting the promise of God who gave His Son as the propitiation for our sin. The Torah was given to show the Jews that the righteousness required to enter the kingdom of heaven is outside of their reach, it cannot be earned by works.

The Gentiles died without hope during that period of time when Israel had the Law and were observing the provisions of that Law in the Temple. The Law of Moses failed to produce the kind of righteousness demanded by the Creator of everything. Moses said that there would come one who men would have turn to who was not like him, that one is Yeshua and unlike the giver of the Law, Yeshua gave His own life as a once and for all sacrifice for sin.

Here is what Paul says:

But now apart from the law a righteousness of God hath been manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ unto all them that believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God set forth to be a propitiation, through faith, in his blood, to show his righteousness because of the passing over of the sins done aforetime, in the forbearance of God; for the showing, I say, of his righteousness at this present season: that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him that hath faith in Jesus. Where then is the glorying? It is excluded. By what manner of law? of works? Nay: but by a law of faith. We reckon therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. Or is God the God of Jews only? is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yea, of Gentiles also: if so be that God is one, and he shall justify the circumcision by faith, and the uncircumcision through faith. (*Romans‬ *3‬:*21-30‬ ASV)
