The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

We all move at different speeds in all directions. The earth and atmosphere move at the same speed in one direction as if the earth is motionless. The atmosphere is not motionless, but not moving in one direction at 700-1000 mph at all times. Just how do we move freely about in any direction...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

You want the speed of the earth and the speed of the atmosphere to be "0" mph while at the same time both moving at 700-1000 mph., the same speed. 700-1000 mph does not equal 0 mph. Space is the immovable reference, the movement of the earth would be through immovable space. The sun is also a...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

If all the particles/molecules in the atmosphere were moving with the earth they would be moving in one direction, the same direction as the earth's spin. How could you move in any other direction? When you say the speed is "0", that's not true. The speed being the same in one direction means...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

The fact that there are no wind speeds 700-1000 mph proves the atmosphere is not moving with the speed of the earth. The fact that the earth is not moving 700-1000 mph through the atmosphere proves the earth is not moving. Relativity destroys logic. --Dave

If the earth and atmosphere were moving at 700 to 1000 mph we would not be here. --Dave

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

If the atmosphere is "moving" with the earth then "all" particle/molecule in the atmosphere are moving at the same speed of the earth. Hello, are you brain dead? If the atmosphere is not moving at 1000 to 700 mph then it's not moving with the earths spin. See how logic works? --Dave

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

Oh really??? We talking about the speed of particles/molecules if they move with the earth. Getting hit with a wind speed of 700 to 1000 mph is an appropriate analogy. Where have you been? --Dave

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

You keep making this meaningless statement as if it's a magic want that makes all the contradictions go away. If you're about to get hit with a wind gust of 700 to 1000 mph is it just a small speed using the earth as a reference??? After it hits you will you have slowed it down??? NO!!! --Dave

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

What nonsense to say the speed is small using the earth as reference. If you're about to get hit with a wind gust of 700 to 1000 mph is it just a small speed using the earth as a reference??? After it hits you will you have slowed it down??? You all have let "physics" completely warp your...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

I have knowledge of the physics. The physics are simply incoherent--full of contradictions. Funny how what I believe is exactly what I, you, and everyone else in the history of the world has experienced--an earth that is not moving. Physics is turning the world into atheists. --Dave

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

If the particles/molecules in the atmosphere were moving with the earth they would not be slowed down anymore than the earth itself would be slowed down. The wind created this this movement would eventually shred everything everywhere. All I see are inconsistent and unbalanced analogies and...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

The idea of a false analogy seems to have never crossed your mind. The force of pull on "all" particles in the atmosphere that the spinning earth at 1000 mph and an earth rocketing through space at 67,000 mph is far more powerful than my pulling on a cinder block with a rope. Your analogy is...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

I didn't say gravity could not pull air molecules back down to earth. I said that gravity is pulling "all" the molecules of earth's atmosphere and that direction is, as you say downward. But "all" the molecules in the atmosphere are also supposedly being pulled in the direction of the earth's...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

You're painting a false picture of reality. Isolating one "frame of reference" doesn't give us the whole picture. "Our faces would be slowing the wind down - agreed?" No, my face would not slow down the whole force of a global wind. --Dave

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon--Part II

I don't know why you don't see the obvious contradiction. If all particles in the atmosphere were being pulled with the spinning earth then none of them could move in any other direction. The only way to have the atmosphere act as it does "in" a moving car would be for there to be a "solid"...
