The Saving results of the Death of Christ !

False, if one is in the Body of Christ. People can be called by what they do. People who lie, liars; people who steal, theives; people who murder, murderers; etc. People who sin: Sinners. People who are saved: Christians. If we're dead to the law, the law has no hold on us. We're like the...

The Saving results of the Death of Christ !

I believe I can answer this: The word Paul used for "hope" here is a bit different in meaning than the "hope" we use today. By that I mean that while it's translated as "hope" correctly, it has a different definition than the kind of hope we have and use today. We use the word "hope" to...

    No, it doesn't.

    Limited atonement !

Saying it doesn't make it so. We've been over this before, B57. It ended with you ignoring what I was saying.

    Limited atonement !

Which is why faith isn't a work. It's not "done to get God to save you." Faith is simply recognizing that you CANNOT do anything, and putting your trust in the one who CAN save you.

The Saving results of the Death of Christ !

No, "grace" is the gift of God. Grace is what is being talked about. "For by grace are you saved... It is the gift of God" The "through faith" is just a prepositional phrase modifying "grace." Grace, not works.

    Paleontologists Dig the Hydroplate Theory

Here's how I see it. It's one thing to have people who agree with you say things that agree with you. It's a whole new ballgame when it's your opponents who disagree with you say things that agree with you. Yeah, that would be nice.

    Limited atonement !

Non sequitur. It does not logically/necessarily follow that because Christ's death is universal, therefore it must be universally effectual.

are you being watched and who is watching ?

Children watch EVERYTHING that those around them do. If you've ever been around kids, you know this to be true. Their eyes are always watching what you do.

Dinosaurs are fake and leads to atheism!

Isn't God creative in designing not only flowers, but in designing a system that cannot arise via naturalistic means that can produce, consistently, these forms?

    Who Justifieth the Ungodly

Which is exactly what John Piper said. Faith in and of itself has no merit. It is not meritorious. Yet it is STILL REQUIRED BY GOD of a person in order for Him to grace that person out.

Is the Desert just another Ocean?

Because you say so? So women should be sluts and men should be be promiscuous? Isn't that what we have already, and yet the birth rate is declining, most marriages end in divorce, and all for the sake of "progress"? Which is what happens when people become sex addicts prior to marriage...

Is the Desert just another Ocean?

Then you should have just asked for clarification. Not made a statement of incredulity. It's "Right Divider," not "Diviner." And if that were true, then you should have @mentioned him. When you learn how to ask politely.

Is the Desert just another Ocean?

What would be even more preferable is if people didn't have sex outside of marriage. Then contraceptives wouldn't be needed except for married couples who don't want to have kids, but still want to have sex (as weird as that would be) There should be no such thing as an "unwanted child." Do...

Is the Desert just another Ocean?

"I do not see how...." makes whatever you say next an appeal to incredulity BY DEFINITION. You were claiming, by your appeal to incredulity, that a Christian Theonomy would be the same as or worse than Sharia Law. Your claim, aside from being fallacious, is wrong. You quoted me, not RD, in...

The Book of Revelation: Mystery Or Profitable?

If you haven't already, I highly recommend listening to Bob's Bible study on Song of Solomon. He did a masterful job of making it extremely clear as to what was being said.

The Book of Revelation: Mystery Or Profitable?

Just so you know, "appeal to common sense" is a fallacy, because A) common sense isn't common and B) what may be common sense may not be correct.
