    meaning of Acts 1:5

Then why did you say... If you don't believe that Paul was the one who did it? Just like Israel... Hmmm... Whereas with the Body of Christ, there is ONE baptism, not multiple.. Things that are different are not the same. Because of the distinction between the dispensation of grace given...

    Can God lie?

Doesn't matter. It's still begging the question. Don't use logical fallacies. And the Lord said, ‘Who will persuade Ahab to go up, that he may fall at Ramoth Gilead?’ So one spoke in this manner, and another spoke in that manner. Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, and said...

    Can God lie?

God expects those who love Him to know right from wrong, and to be prepared to defend their beliefs. God is JUST, He is RIGHTEOUS! Your position has Him and those who fear Him being UNJUST, UNRIGHTEOUS, and the ONLY REASON is because you'd rather hold to the belief that "lying is always evil"...

    Can God lie?

Then you need to explain why God did not punish the midwives, or Rahab, or Elisha (who was a prophet of God, no less), or any of the other people in the Bible who lied, whom God either did not punish and in some cases even rewarded them for doing so, or why God deceived the people of Ai, or sent...

    meaning of Acts 1:5

Why do you assume Paul was the one to baptize them? Why do you assume water was involved? By "the twelve" are you referring to "The Twelve Apostles," namely, Peter, James, John, etc? Or do you recognize that there were twelve men whose names are unknown, but definitely not "The Twelve"? When...

    Can God lie?

What evil did they do so that good would come of it? IOW, quit begging the question. Or, lying isn't evil, and they didn't do anything wrong to begin with, which is a much simpler explanation.

    Suicidality and the Second Amendment

Raising children in the fear and admonition of the Lord is the best way to keep your child from considering suicide.

    Suicidality and the Second Amendment

So in order to combat the growing number of suicides, you're going to teach children about suicide? Talk about backwards... No, if education were the solution to this sort of problem, doctors wouldn't smoke. Condemning all forms of murder (including self-murder) is the only solution. Children...

    Suicidality and the Second Amendment

We'll never be able to reduce the number of suicides per year until we stop teaching people that death is a solution to all of our problems. We live in a culture of death. Unwanted pregnacy? Have an abortion. Don't want to take care of your parents or put them in a nursing home? Euthanize...

    Can God lie?

Which makes you wrong. They did, in fact lie. Because your premise is false, the rest of your argument falls apart. But even if that wasn't the case, your argument would still be bad, because Scripture does not state that God rewarded them for "not killing the babies." It says that God...

Crisis On The Border, Thanks Joe! (you filthy rapist)

Notice how they put "~7399" rather than "~7400." That's intentional. You see it with prices of store items. It's a method of pricing things that makes peopless braints think an item is cheaper than it actually is. If this were the price of an item, you'd see "$73" and ignore the rest, because...

HOME link now points to kgov.com

This change makes use of a redundant button, the "Home" button, since it, "Forums," and the TOL logo all take you to the same page. With this change, TOL has a proper "home" page, and "Forums" is now where the discussion happens. Good idea. I'll bump it up to the other Admins.

The "Forums" button and the TOL logo at the top of the screen both work to take you to the Forum "home."

I'm working on seeing if we can get a TOL button on the Kgov site, but in the meantime, using the back button should work.
