The Church in the Book of Revelation

So take a look at this lovely paragraph that Ariel is blaming me for not 'getting'. What a bunch of blah blah blah. Every other sentence is something she thinks she needs to teach, and she never does get to the point. I'll just lay out my thoughts, and, hopefully, they'll fit in...

The Church in the Book of Revelation

Right, it couldn't be you and your lack of knowledge and what you're attempting to teach. It's got to be my comprehension level. What do you have to do to get saved? What is the gospel of salvation today?

The Church in the Book of Revelation

Yep, that my goal. Cruising around and being disagreeable. However, I know exactly how that post came about. And your versions here is close. You were being told that if you didn't figure out how to get saved, you'd be going to hell. When you say he tried to "skate out of that by saying...

These are NOT the same gospel

Not the same at all. Paul is talking about them in the past tense.....since there is neither Jew nor Gentile under grace. Peter isn't recognizing that fact and continues to call them gentiles.

These are NOT the same gospel

Of course. There will all kinds of reprobates in heaven who have had ALL THEIR SINS forgiven. 1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

    Is death just another life?

Well, I wouldn't say that from the post you've presented. He is just stating a fact. It's a present fact.

The Church in the Book of Revelation

We're not talking about "the works". We're talking about those works before the law was given. Seriously? Not even when the time time of refreshing would come? There was no covenant of redemption for the Jews? Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted...

The Church in the Book of Revelation

Oh my goodness. Are you being faulted for giving too much scripture? You are a very bad boy, RD.

    Is death just another life?

Yep, no hope of life. Gone forever into the lake of fire with the rest of the unsaved.

    Is death just another life?

Yep, that's a good one. From prophecy we have.... Psalm 41:9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

You seem to be missing a lot of points while you're busy telling others they're missing points. Perhaps we have a failure to communicate.

    Is death just another life?

Yep, no doubt about that. His "familiar" friend, I think it was. John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

These are NOT the same gospel

Right, they may learn not to blaspheme. They may not learn, but that doesn't mean they would lose their salvation. It just means that they will be hounded by satan with trials and tribulation.
  18. glorydaz

    Is death just another life?

No, only their body was dead. What Paul is talking about is that there would be no hope of resurrection or even life after death if Jesus hadn't died on the cross. That would be perished....gone forever with no hope of life.

The Church in the Book of Revelation

You make it sound like God hasn't always required works. When has He not before this age of Grace? You're way too emeshed in covenants. You're seeing them everywhere, even where they aren't.
