  • Hi freelight, :)

I didn't realise that I had to delete messages in my inbox, thanks for letting me know. I've deleted quite a few of them now so you can message me whenever. Also what do you mean by I will be part 4 of the UB on the life of Jesus? Not sure what you mean, thanks :)
Shalom :) - well, don't know about fully jumping back in because, indeed, it is a whirlpool descending into an abyss: but I saw some things you said and wanted to add a couple more pennies of my own to the fountain. :)
I'm not sure how I'll vote, yet. If I vote for Hillary it will only be because I am concerned with the health care issue. And I don't want to run any risk of the republicans destroying what little progress we've made on it. Already the corporate oligarchy has the media flinging all sorts of fear stories about rising premium costs, a prelude, I'm sure to yet another attempt at stopping what little help "Obamacare" provides to the working poor.

Otherwise, I'm likely to vote for a 3rd party candidate, or skip casting a vote in the presidential campaign (writing is a name is too much trouble in my state). I am hoping that Hillary will surprise us all and turn out to be a great president, but the evidence of her history doesn't support that hope. And neither does her husband's past history.

We're all going to be deeply missing the Obamas in a few months, I fear.
Unfortunately freelight, no third party candidate has a chance. I've understood why someone would go third party and I respect their reasoning but I just can't do it this time. There's too much at stake. One of those two candidates will be the next president even though they're the most loathed candidates in U.S. history.
Hi freelight, yes, I'm voting for Hillary, although I voted for Bernie Sanders in the primary. I wish he'd made it all the way. He was the only authentic candidate, IMO. First time in my life I'd ever voted outside the GOP. I'm not voting for her because I've been a lifelong fan of hers, because I haven't. As I said in another thread, I'm using the principle of double effect in choosing the person who I believe is the best candidate, and I respect your vote but I didn't want to vote third party in this election. Maybe another election, another set of candidates - but not this time. What the GOP has allowed to happen is disastrous. Most of if self-inflicted.

    I hope you're doing well. :)

This is a mantra of self-healing, humility, relaxation, protective grace, and emotional relief. It calls on the spirit of humility and grace of Guru Ram Das.

The Guru Ram Das Mantra is an ashtang mantra. Ashtang mantras have eight parts. They catalyze the kundalini energy to initiate through your own effort and devotion. The first part of the mantra, Guru Guru Wahe Guru, projects the mind to the Infinite, the source of knowledge and ecstasy. The second part, Guru Ram Das Guru, means “the wisdom that comes as a servant of the Infinite.”

Its been awhile since I read it so I would have to refresh, like to see you're take on it though. A lot of his books are free on line I have most them downloaded.
Excellent, all things consist in the One Source that plays all the parts from beggar to rich man, all states of experience which have degrees of importance in mans eyes, yet have not advantage either way in the Divine.
