Thanks. I hope to be teaching inside of the next two years. A lot to do between then and now, but I love the idea of working with little ones, some of whom might not have a male figure to identify with. God willing, things are going to get more and more interesting around here.

I consider the subject closed as far as she's concerned.

You're right Bybee. It's just that I have a lot of respect for Heir's
knowledge, wisdom, and discernment and don't like to see someone
calling her "stupid!" I guess calling someone stupid or a jerk isn't that
bad, there are worse words. I like you Bybee, I always have. You're
a good Lady and I respect you.

Oh I hit the parent/wife/kid lottery. I used to tell people that if I believed in reincarnation I'd have to have been Gandhi in the last life.

Literally just had a call from my father and she's much improved this morning. I'm wondering if she didn't get a little blood in her stomach. That can happen and the body doesn't like it. In any event she managed a bit of breakfast...I think there's something profoundly shocking to us when a parent is weak because on some level they are always connected to the shadow of that titan we looked up to as children, the indestructible center of the known universe. Any attack on that shifts something fundamental to us.

It was a bit scary yesterday. We came back from seeing the Blue Angels and she'd been napping. Went to come into the living room and fell beside their bed, which thankfully is the only carpeted area in their home. No injury there, but I had to pick her up and put her into bed. It's disconcerting seeing someone you love that weak.

Not sure what Cleopatra's point is though. Rewriting history, apparently...sheesh. I'd like to know her family history.
