Rusha, so far as I can see, nobody in this thread has been advocating domestic abuse in your precise understanding of the term. Nobody in this thread (except maybe Crucible; I have no idea what his views are on this) thinks that it's OK to beat your wife because she didn't do the dishes, because she shined your shoes wrong, because she talks too much, etc.
