I was a victim and for a time I was also a homosexual. I am absolutely convinced that the abuse is what led me to have homosexual thoughts and feelings. Not all victims of sexual abuse have ended up living as homosexuals but many people who call themselves homosexual were victims of abuse. Notice that I said many, not all
I believe that there are limits on what the government should and shouldn't legislate to make illegal. I really don't think that we can legislate morality. If one argues for homosexuality to be illegal, where do we stop? Why not make adultery illegal? Or fornication, lying, idolatry or any others of a long list of sins?

As was shown on page 2 of part 2.
What causes homosexuals desires and can it be changed?

Welcome to part 3 Pete. You may have noticed that a very very sick person copy and pasted portions of a post of yours from one of our many conversations in part 2.

Do you still side with the sexual anarchists and believe that this insanity that we're seeing day in and day out should be allowed to remain legal and continue to grow like an out of control cancer, or have you come to your senses and acknowledged that
"We know that the law is good if one uses it properly"?
1 Timothy 1:8
I still stand by what I said in the post quoted from part 2. I do not think that private homosexual behaviour should be illegal but that does not and never has meant that I believe it to be anything other than sinful.
aCW what are you hoping to accomplish by recriminalizing homosexuality?
You keep siting all these illegal things the homosexuals supposedly do and apparently get away with. Why would practicing homosexuality even if it was illegal be any different? What real change would you expect?
Reading your words I can only come to the conclusion that you've been submerged in the sewer for so long that you don't even know what the smell of fresh air is.
No more gay pride parades? Gay people actually openly enjoying life is probably a bit hard for aCW to take, if he can't have fun then nobody else should be allowed to. :nono:I'm asking what changes you'd expect to see.
Well unless you've been living on another planet (which would make quite a lot of sense) you'll have noticed the outrage over not just Saville but others as well where their past has actually caught up with them. You think it's only straights who condemn acts of violation?
You'd know all about the pot/kettle scenario given what you've been banned for on here so playing that card doesn't do you any favours...
I'm asking what changes you'd expect to see.
aCW you told me over a year ago you would cover and defend your view that the African HIV/AIDS epidemic is a scam 'later in the thread'. Have we got to that part yet or do I have another year to wait?
So before I try to describe what decency is to you shag and those like Pete who have never experienced a culture that embraces decency in their lives, try to describe to me what decency means to you.
As you can see Pete, your request is really high up on my list or priorities.
BTW, have you come up with an answer as to why heterosexual women and children in Africa contract AIDS when they don't in other parts of the world?
You've had a whole year to do so, hopefully I won't have to wait another year.
What exactly is that supposed to mean?
Again, how can I explain what decency is to someone who has no concept of it? In part 1 of the thread I talked quite a bit about it with the atheist that went by the name of Gerald (sigh, I miss Gerald, it was almost like conversing with a rock that knew how to type).
Tell us a little more about yourself shag. We know that you have IBS and vaporize marijuana for your "medical condition". We know that you're married with children (I assume that they're in their teens or older). We know that you're a musician, hence you're probably around a lot of homosexuals and thus child molesters like Jimmy Savile and Bryan Singer.
We know that you're a Libertarian who is like most Libertarians: pro abortion (i.e your quote "How can you murder something that hasn't even been born?").
So before I try to describe what decency is to you shag and those like Pete who have never experienced a culture that embraces decency in their lives, try to describe what decency means to you.

You can take your finger off the "BAN HIM!" button Pete.
You were born after abortion was made legal on demand. You were born after pornography could be purchased openly in places like grocery stores. You were born after homosexuality was decriminalized and thus you see drag queens and fairies marching in parades and just shrug your shoulders saying something brilliant like "It is what it is".
You don't know what decency is Pete, hence you don't have any desire to return to a society that once embraced it.
You're in no rush to share why you believe it to be a scam.
Perhaps that's because you're wrong? Not that you would ever admit it.
I'm aware that HIV is more common among homosexual men in western society but this is not the case in Africa and I don't know why. I don't know the cause, I just know the results. Of all the people I witnessed dying of AIDS when I was living in Uganda which was a horrible thing to witness I would say 90% of them were women with children.
I've never once reported a post you've made. Other people have done that but I haven't and I wasn't about to now.
Indeed I was born after all of that but that doesn't mean I don't know what decency is. Being a Christian and having Christian influence all around me as well as reading the Bible help me to know and understand what is good and right. Human laws and customs change, the word of God stands forever. So don't tell me I don't know what decency is.
