No. We keep his word because we are saved. This is how we know we are in him. If we keep his word in order to be saved, we can't know if we are in him.
Let's hear your Testimony of faith AndyCnoTruth?
Look at that. Six rapid fire posts unrelated to the subject of the OP.
Why don't you do something useful for a change, and comment on Dan's subject?
Stop being a waste of bandwidth all the time.
It's passive because Paul is talking about the preaching of the word being instructed to him.
Hi and the PASSIVE VOICE IN THE VERB " IS COMMITTED /PISTEUO " means that Christ was committing to Paul a new message , and that is the Gospel of the Grace of God as recorded in Acts 20:24 !!
This is the correct view of what the PASSIVE VOICE means and in gthe Indicative Mood of a FACT in Titus 1:3 !! !!

I don't know where you get "new message" from. It's what you want to see in the text, not what is actually there. The purpose of the gospel is to tell people how to receive eternal life, which is to have faith in Jesus. He was manifested to take away the sins of the world.
Paul was entrusted with the message of eternal life to the gentiles, but the the way to receive eternal life has always been the same, believe in Jesus.
2 Tim 1:9-10
who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ
Not quite sure what nutcase here is trying to prove.
The message of eternal life (which Jesus preached) is brought to light through the gospel, which Paul was appointed as "a" preacher, not "the" preacher.
And so Paul was one of many others like him. He brought the message of the gospel to the gentiles.
Hi and you do not believe NOR did you explain what 2 Tim 1:9-10 really means !!
#1 Eph 1:4 and 2 Tim 1:9-10 speak to the Body of Christ before God made the worlds .
#2 , His apprearing in 2 Tim speak to the Risen Christ and to the many revelation that Paul received !!
