Isa 53:10

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

First we must understand who the His is here, its Christ, the Seed belongs to Him, for it is His soul made an offering for sin.

So now Christ never physically married a women and she bare Him children, no, the seed is spiritual, a spiritual seed or offspring. The word for seed here is zera and means:

offspring, descendants, posterity, children, family, race, generation

and its speaking spiritually.

This seed is none other than those Chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world Eph 1:4 !

Yes, and also the Seed of Christ, Chosen of the Father in Union with Him, Whose Soul was made an offering for sin Is. 53:10, consists of all His Sheep which went astray:

Is. 53:6
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Christ as the Surety of all His Seed Heb 7:22, satisfied God's Law and Justice on their behalf Heb. 13:20, by taking their sins upon Himself Is. 53:6.

Who are His Seed ? 2
Yes Jesus has a seed a offspring, no not naturally but spiritually, and thats why again He was called the everlasting Fahter here Isa 9:6

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Now this verse is speaking of none other than the Lord Jesus Christ as the everlasting Father. The word Father means:

  1. head or founder of a household, group, family, or clan
  2. ancestor
    1. grandfather, forefathers — of person
    2. of people
  3. originator or patron of a class, profession, or art

  4. of producer, generator (fig.)

What Christ is designated here, Hes always been if we understand aright Heb 13:8

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

His role as the everlasting Father has always been, even from the beginning, before the foundation when a seed was chosen in Him Eph 1:4

As a Father He has a Seed, not a physical but a spiritual. John Gill writes an interesting note on Isa 9:6 " Everlasting Father" :

    The everlasting Father; which does not design any relation of Christ in the Godhead; and there is but one Father in the Godhead, and that is the first Person; indeed Christ and the Father are one, and the Father is in him, and he is in the Father, and he that has seen the one has seen the other, and yet they are distinct, Christ is not the Father; the Son and Spirit may be considered with the first Person as Father, in creation and regeneration, they being jointly concerned therein, but not in the Trinity: it is easy to make it appear Christ is not the Father, but is distinct from him, since he is said to be with the Father from eternity, to be the Son of the Father in truth and love, his own Son, his only begotten and beloved Son; Christ frequently calls the first Person his Father, prayed to him as such, and is our advocate with him, as well as the way unto him; he is said to be sent by the Father, to come from him, and to go to him; and many things are said of Christ that cannot be said of the Father, as his being made flesh, suffering and dying in the room of his people; and the Father is said to do many things unto him, as to anoint him, to seal him, to show him all he did, to commit all judgment to him, and give him to have life in himself as he had: but Christ is a Father with respect to chosen men, who were given him as his children and offspring in covenant; who are adopted into that family that is named of him, and who are regenerated by his Spirit and grace: and to these he is an "everlasting Father"; he was so from everlasting;

Thats why also He is the Author of Faith Heb 12:2

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

That word author if studied we find means :

  1. that by which anything begins to be, the origin, the active cause

Hes the active cause/causer of the Faith/Faithful because they are His Seed. Abraham was merely typical as the Father of the Faithful
Rom 4:11; Gal 3:7,9 because Abraham didnt have the ability to produce believers, but Christ does have the ability and produces it in His Seed !

It's very common to observe people referring to Christ as a sibling. But the Bible refers to him not as a sibling, rather, as a parent. (Isa 53:10 and Heb 2:13)

John 13:33 . . Little children, yet a little while I am with you.

John 21:5 . . Jesus said to them: Children, have you any fish?

I'm not surprised that Christ is a parent seeing as how he is identified as an Adam (1Cor 15:45-47) because the first Adam was a parent too.

Christ as the last Adam had a seed, just as the first adam had a seed of all that would be born of him, likewise Jesus Christ the last Adam had a seed of all that would be born of Him. His seed was seen here Isa 53:10

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

His seed would be born of Him, for as He is also the Word of God, the Logos 1 Pet 1:23

23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Again both seeds are here represented, the corruptible seed, everyone born of the first adam, the incorruptible seed consisting of everyone born of the last Adam Jesus Christ, the Word of God.

John describes the Word of God Jn 1:1,14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Christs seed would be all them chosen in Him before the foundation of the world Eph 1:4

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love

And so as the Last Adam everything He suffered and accomplished He did in the flesh representing His Seed, all whom would be born of Him !
