Just for clarification: You know the difference between drunkenness, and a drunk, right ?

The verse says that drunkenness "cannot be saved." Eph5:18

Hi , and where does it speak of Salvation in Eph 5:18 ?

Another way to see verse 18 , as Drunkenness will get all feeling FUZZY and Warm , instead " be filled with the POWER of HOLY SPIRIT , so what are we to be FILLED WITH ?

#1 , Be filled with the Fruit of Righteousness , in Phil 1:11 !

#2 , Be filled with all Knowledge , Rom 15:14 !

#3 , Be filled with the Acurate Knowledge of His Will , Col 1:9 !

#4 Be filled with ALL Joy and Peace , Rom 15:13 !

#5 , And be filled with the Fulness of God , Eph 3:19

Dan, Our Lord Jesus Christ died so that we can get drunk on wine, and He did not die to redeem being drunk on wine. Being drunk on wine, as a state, as the result of drinking too much wine, is worthless. It is good for nothing. There is no advantage to being drunk on wine. ASOTIA -- not saved

Hi , and you are not understanding what is written !!

It means to be Excited and to be " filled " with the Power of Holy Spirit and grow in Grace and not be and " infant " like those in 1 Cor 13:8-13 !!
