Homeschooling raises a few issues for me, but I know I am basing them upon only having known a few people in my life that were schooled at home. However, one of the things that concerns me is that these people were so sheltered by homeschooling, that they didn't seem to know how to interact with other kids. I guess my question is, has anyone seen damage done by sheltering these kids from things parents don't want them to see or know about? How do they develop the right tools to deal with drugs, sexuality, and a whole plethora of issues? It would seem to me that you can't keep them from these things forever.
Again, this is a sincere question, I am not trying to provoke anyone.
What do you want them to learn about drugs? How wuch crack it takes to get a decent high? They can learn enough about sex after they are married! Kids don't learn proper adult behaviour from other kids. They learn it from adults!GayChristian said:I have a question, if I may.
