What are you saying? Hint: don't use the same expressions and sense of humor over again.

No, no, no, little mutt!! You use the term "expressions," in secular language, and apply it literally, to the "bible," a term you also take too literally, as the days of literalism are over!!!

Remember, focus on the....You guessed it:

1b743541fc5949b783b34eaf9c420466-e1450585198968.jpg

And, in "When you're alone, and life is making you lonely,..... You can always go........downtown," substitute "go...downtown," with "focus on the mission!!!"

The lights are much brighter there at "The Mission," so you can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares, so focus on "the Mission," where all the lights are bright..."The Mission," waiting for you tonight, "The Mission," you're gonna be alright now...

And you may find somebody kind to help and understand you...Someone who is just like you and needs a gentle hand to guide them along. So maybe I'll see you there.
We can forget all our troubles, forget all our cares. So, focus on "The Mission..." "The Mission"... things'll be great when you're focusing on "The Mission...." "The Mission..." Don't wait a minute for "The Mission"..."The Mission"...everything's waiting for you.

The Mission...The Mission...the Mission....

Sorry I missed the negative NOT a few posts back:

"...just like the NT does NOT trademark the expression 'great Tribulation'..."

Do you have a specific text you want to discuss. The mission goes as far back in the Bible as Acts 15:14+ says.

The race of Israel realized its failure in Isaiah's words: "We have not brought salvation to the earth." Gee, where would they get the idea they were supposed to? 28:16.

The 'power' of the kingdom (Acts 1:8) that was given was the Spirit's work to kick-start the message of the Gospel to all nations, as was planned, Lk 24.

Know your Bible, instead of your TV.

Irony from a poster that promotes the Daystar movie of the week...

To promote MOW is not to promote Daystar. It happens to be a technology where we could conceivably all review a movie together on all levels, live and online. Which you have no interest in. You bring it up because your beliefs are vapid and you desparately needs something to attack.

There is no such thinking in the Bible. There is no such 'generally speaking' about 'Those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith' or 'Christ redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles though Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.' Gal 3 (banned in most D'ist circles--I have NEVER seen a quote of Gal 3 by a D'ist in 2 years here).

Gal 3:1-29 (AKJV/PCE)
(3:1) O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? (3:2) This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? (3:3) Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? (3:4) Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if [it be] yet in vain. (3:5) He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, [doeth he it] by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? (3:6) Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. (3:7) Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. (3:8) And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, [saying], In thee shall all nations be blessed. (3:9) So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. (3:10) For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. (3:11) But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, [it is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith. (3:12) And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. (3:13) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree: (3:14) That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (3:15) Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though [it be] but a man's covenant, yet [if it be] confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. (3:16) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. (3:17) And this I say, [that] the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. (3:18) For if the inheritance [be] of the law, [it is] no more of promise: but God gave [it] to Abraham by promise. (3:19) Wherefore then [serveth] the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; [and it was] ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. (3:20) Now a mediator is not [a mediator] of one, but God is one. (3:21) [Is] the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. (3:22) But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. (3:23) But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. (3:24) Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster [to bring us] unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. (3:25) But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. (3:26) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. (3:27) For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (3:28) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (3:29) And if ye [be] Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

There you go.

Well then, in Gal 3, the promise of Abraham that we await was the Spirit, and it is spread through the preaching of the Gospel as needed.

As for Heb 8, the official interp of that and Jeremiah is in the next two chapters, which completely removes the need for it to be 1, future and 2, using anything fixed to Judea. How about that?

That is what is actually there, and that is what I believe. The same guy, 2 chapters later in 12, was not some other writer with some other theology system. What you believe about 8 also has to be in 12:22+.

I believe it all... as I believe all of the Bible... including Hebrews 8:8

You should too.

I thought you were NOT a chapter blaster, yet you posted the whole thing without commenting on anything specific. Then you think you know one line Heb 8 but refuse to look at any other comment on the new covenant, even if it is in the next chapter (lol!!!), because it is D'ism, not the Bible, that comes first.

You've taught me well (and cannot recognize an obvious joke when you see it).

The new COVENANT is very specific and YET you cannot understand it.

Your probably think that Matthew 1 is new covenant.

Weird, the little mutt quips? Good one, given your drug induced spam, psycho babble, mystic "posts," that say nothing, void of scripture, as TOL laughs at you.
