noPaul defined redemption as the forgiveness of sins. (Ephesians 1:7)
no
-you are not reading it properly
-forgiveness is through grace
. . . after it is asked for. .
Can it not be said that redemption is NOT of God's grace but of His will, set in Himself?
anything can be said around here

Can it not be said that redemption is NOT of God's grace but of His will, set in Himself? Because it is not understood in that light is why it is confused with salvation as being, "unmerited grace". "That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;" Philippians 2:15 (KJV)
