One way I like to look at it is that having become flesh, He better understands how flawed we are
Because the wages of sin has been paid for.

It would take a lot of love to go on that cross and take on the sins of the world. That's a heavy load.
You might do a word study on the Hebrew concept of ga'al. It's beyond the ability to discuss it here but I did a study on it approximately 10 years ago. It took me months to fully complete it.
The book of Ruth is based on the Hebrew law of ga'al in which a Hebrew's closest relative with the financial means could redeem/pay his debt and so set him free from slavery.
There are 18 instances where ga'al is translated as redeemer, and everyone of them point to Jesus as our redeemer. It's why He became a human being so as our closest relative He could pay our debt and redeem us.
It's a fascinating study.
