What does it mean to say that God is one?

In the NT, when God is called 'one,' the NT Greek word heis is used. This word is used when one (male) person is being described.

Therefore, 'God is one (heis)' means that God is one (person).

I do not need to accept you saying one person. But God is one. What can you share from the NT?
