1988 single charting at #65 in Australia. From her first solo album 'Policy', this track was written by Dianne Warren. Martha was the lead singer of The Motels (from the 70's - 1985).
Martha went on after the original Motels disbanded and formed a new Motels "band" - they are still going strong and touring -

Motels......
The above is some vintage Motels from their debut album. Later record companies pressed a more 'commercial' pop sound out of them, which produced a string of hits in the 80's. Love their earlier punk-new-wave, more raw sounds, but enjoy the more pop tunes too, as in below.
