Just what does the firstborn of all creation mean to you? To anyone who takes the time to reason on it, it means Jesus was born first before any other creation. Someone who is/was born has parents, or in the case of Jesus, a parent, his Father. God did not create himself, he created his Son. They, in turn, created everything else. No, it doesn't say that. A little slip here and a little slip there. That is exactly what the serpent did in the garden.
Col. 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
You choose one use of the word "firstborn" ignoring the entire text which refutes what you claim. Firstborn also means preeminence, which is it's meaning here as shown from the text in which it's placed.
synonyms:superiority, supremacy, greatness, excellence, distinction, prominence, predominance, eminence, importance, prestige, stature, fame, renown, celebrity
You will find it used so in scripture. If you need help finding where...just ask.
