You do realize, don't you, that Americans commit crimes and get arrested every day, and the ones who get arrested with children have their children removed and sent to social services. You do understand that, right? It happens every day.

Why would it be any different for an illegal alien who sneaks into the country (which is a crime) and gets busted and detained. Do you think we should throw the kids into the cells with the parents?
