I thought I'd take my kids to the park and play a little baseball. The TRUE American sport.

:plain:

I'm not much of a football fan, I have to say, but Vegas is a great place to watch the game. Every major hotel/casino has a HUGE party. You can easily get your fill of beer, wings, pork rinds, and all the other delicious things that nearly get me to be a football fan every year at this time.

I will probably go to Red Rock Casino, which is just up the street from my house, and drink a few beers with a buddy and watch.

Being in Indianapolis I got to hang out at SuperBowl village this week and check out all of the festivities. For the game itself I will probably sit on my couch and watch it. It seems most folks here in Indy are rooting for the Giants because of (1) Eli and (2) the dislike of the Patriots due to their rivalry with the Colts.

I'm looking forward to it. There will be lots of junk food around here and some good food to. Nachos with the jalapeno peppers, little ground beef and refried beans mixed in there... shrimp, all kinds of other stuff and Firestone IPA.

I'm looking forward to hanging out with friends and family and just having a great time. The sad part is that after tomorrow the season will be over for the year.

I think the game will be great and can go to either team but I am pulling for the Patriots.

I'm pulling for them because the Giants beat them to keep them from an undefeated season a few years ago...and I was disappointed about that.

I was so impressed with New England, and the way they played football that year I wanted them to get some football immortality out of it.

I'm not one of these Bellichick haters, and I think Brady is an all time great. So, I don't mind pulling for them. At the same time the Giants are coming on strong now just like they did the last time they made it to the show. So, IDK. I think it's an even bet.

PS. I'm also interested to see if Madonna screws up the halftime show as bad as the BEP's did last year.

I think the Pats will win, but I hope the Giants will win. We're having some friends over, low key, eating some wings, dip etc. Nice & laid back..

Watching it with my brother at home. Nothing big. Ordering pizza. Bought some other snacks.

I hope the Patriots win.
I predict the Giants will win.
Knowing the Patriots in the Super Bowl it will be a close game that comes down to a game winning FG or TD. And knowing their recent games against the Giants, they will lose.

I hope the commercials are good.
I don't care about Madonna or her halftime show.

Hungry Howie's pizza and real, home made chocolate chip cookies will insure a good time regardless of outcome or score.

That said, by system I have the Pats edging in a close one.

Now that system is 7-3 through the playoffs, but there's the tight end situation to consider and I believe that impacts the whole Pat offense significantly. If Gronkowski can't perform the two tight end set that gives the Giants fits is done and so are New England hopes for a close fought win.

Patriots 24
Giants 20

Personally I think it starts off close and the Giants pull away by ten or better before its over. By preference? Given their conduct late in the season against my team, I hope the Pats get beaten like a toy drum. :D

New York 35, New England 24.

Pats by three. Or maybe nine. Ugh.

I don't think I'll be able to even enjoy this game. Seriously. Until Bob Kraft says "This one's for Myra," I won't be able to relax.

Won't surprise me if the G-Men come through for another seven centuries of I Told Ya So, however.

But I keep my faith.

We'll see though.

 What crust are you going with?
That's a GREAT question. I'm thinking of going Banzai this time out on a Howie Maui with pepperoni.

I won't be eating many carbs for a while thereafter, making a hard push to get ready for the beach this season, so I'll probably chase it with a 3-cheeser Howie bread in fond farewell. :D

I want them both to lose. And to fully disclose, I guess I want Belicheat to lose less because he did whatever he had to do to win. The day I root for New York, you can view my ashes in the urn. And then it is Brady or Eli Manning. Eli pulled an Elway, I am taking my ball and going home. That is a root against move for life.

And I think the Pats are a better all around team by quite a bit. The Giants didnt' get the best of the Pack.

Boy, "Belicheat." Wow. That is so original. I have never heard that before. And it's so accurate, all things considered. Because you can only win, say, thirteen games by cheating. Obviously. That is so perceptive. See, it's this kind of analysis that I wake up for. Wow. How startling.

I don't think it will be close
but
not sure who will win
if
they can get to Brady, they win big
if
they can't , they lose big

The NFL channel showed the week nine game last night. The Giants won that one 24-20.

In watching the game...I thought the last Patriots team to make it to the Superbowl was better than this team. This doesn't bode well for the Pats.

I thought the 07 Pats defense was better. At the same time, the Pats have been improving on defense and are on a 10 game winning streak.

So I guess what I'm saying is that I still don't have a clue who's going to win. All the "experts" seem to be picking the Giants.

Really? That's the score I predicted for this game. Maybe my subconscious remembered that games score and picked it for the Super Bowl also.

I don't see the same score happening twice. Oh well.....
