"Bebe" was 102 years old, her cause of death was life, not ill health, just life and age itself. The death of this dear sweet lady is bitter sweet, as we had cared for "Bebe" for the past four years. We had a quiet graveside service for "Bebe", "Bebe" had outlived most of her friends and family. Those who gathered together were her son and daughter(-in-law), the Treemont day nurse, the Psalmist's, and of course the few cemetery personnel.
"Bebe"
Her body sheltered resting in the earth, her soul safe in the arms of Jesus,
safe on His gentle breast, there o’rshaded, sweetly her soul shall rest - Amen!

I like to think that a Heavenly Choir of Angels were gathered round to take her home.

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52

Life

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.

We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay.

Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.

And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the Lord.

When death comes, I believe no should be forgotten. I realize that there are times when that is not the case.

So I offer this as a reminder, and a homage for the "Unknown"
