I am partially convinced that full preterism is true...

"are you suggesting the prophecy of the apocalypse was fulfilled prior to the first publication of the bible? "

'first publication of the bible' -- non-sequiter

aren't we agreed that Athanasius first LISTED the 27 NT books in an easter letter about 3 hunnered A D ?

and we all know that even today the OT is disputed among Cathies, Orthos and Prots - right?

39 to 49 OT books

if most of it was over in 70 ad -- that makes it easier

we do know this --early church fathers were Pre MILLENNIALISTS

no - not preTRIB, no - but "pre Mill" - yes

the 1000 year reign is only described in Revelation in the Bible

but in non-canonical works is described

in one - it is 400 yeers - not 1000

so

like Daniel

pieces of Revelation were written maybe centuries apart

All prophecy was fulfilled at 70 AD. The bible is made up of the books, letters, that had already been written prior to that.

Lukas 7:19-24 ~ Yochanan Eliyahu having been praying and writing in the Machaerus Patmos-Prison of Herod during the Day Kuriake, (which Day commences in Lukas 4:17-21) calls unto him a certain duo of his talmidim and sends them unto the Master Yeshua, saying, Art thou the one coming or for another should we watch? And the andres-men having approached Yeshua say unto him: Yochanan the Immerser hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou the one coming or for another should we watch? And in that hour many were cured of diseases, and plagues, and evil spirits; and on many that were blind, sight was bestowed. And Yeshua responding commands them: Go forth and announce to Yochanan what things you have seen and heard:

1) The blind see:
2) The lame walk:
3) The lepers are cleansed:
4) The deaf hear:
5) The dead are awakened:
6) To the poor the good news is proclaimed:
7) And blessed is he whosoever is not offended in me!

So the angelon of Yochanan depart and announce to him all these things . . .
And Seven Thunders uttered their voices . . .

It is very simple. There is a short period of rebellion in which the church all around the world is harrassed by Satan and co., but it ends with the day of judgement of God. There are no geo-political events in Israel. None that show in the key ordinary chapters on the 2nd coming in the NT: Rom 2, 8, I Cor 15, Heb 9, 2 Pet 3, 2 Tim 4. The 'little rebellion' against the kingdom of God is found in Rev 20; watch out for symbology.

NT eschatology does not mix 1st century Judean events (Mt 24A) with the worldwide judgement of God. It is utter confusion to do so.
