Is God still a Spirit?
GOD is unchanging infinite Spirit Being in His essence.
What is His essence?

Jesus' body is a Spiritual body that is immortal.

Revelation 1:14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.
Daniel 7:9

To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like a blazing fire and whose feet are like polished bronze.
Revelation 19:12
He has eyes like blazing fire, and many royal crowns on His head. He has a name written on Him that only He Himself knows.

What does that mean? Jesus is the Spirit and the Spirit is the essence of God.

That kind of superstition is what keeps the Catholics going for thousands of years.
Then why is the God the Father greater than the Son?
John 14:28
Ye have heard how I said unto you,
I go away, and come again unto you.
If ye loved me, ye would rejoice,
because I said, I go unto the Father:
for my Father is greater than I.

Because God the Father came as a Son in the flesh. The one in the flesh as a man is lesser than God the Father in heaven.
How can they be one in the same
and one being the greater than the other.
By all means explain it to me.
